A gigantic pitch-black wolf lay lifeless on the ground. Before its corpse stood a young-looking man, repeatedly examining it.

He wore a loose coat that faded from white to indigo, with a train-shaped emblem at its hem.

A shoulder guard rested on his left shoulder, tied with a red cord. Beneath it was a black high-collared shirt with a metal zipper.

He wore short boots on his feet, and a dark green dragon-shaped ear cuff on his ear.

"Besides, this beast left behind a piece of bone after dying."

As he spoke, the man used his spear to lift the bone onto its tip.

Only after confirming that there was nothing unusual about it did he take it in hand and inspect it closely.

"Looks like a right leg bone. But why haven't any other beasts dropped one?"

Danheng walked through the vast forest, carefully sensing his surroundings while thinking of Stelle, who had traveled to Amphoreus with him.

He did not know whether her injuries were serious, or whether any local residents of Amphoreus had found her.

The woman before him was lavishly dressed, and the air of nobility around her nearly spilled right into his face. She was presumably someone of status in this world as well.
