Lin Fei is a tall, athletic young adult who appears to be in his early twenties. His refined appearance contrasts sharply with his explosive physique and intimidating presence. 18
- Approximately 1.75 meters tall. 18
- Long black hair worn in a simple high ponytail; Lei Long states that he grew it out to commemorate his mother. 18 20
- Wheat-colored skin, long legs, and sharply defined, lean musculature. 18 19
- Usually wears rimless glasses and a black training suit; also wears a thin gold necklace with a silver oval pendant. 18 19
- Has a youthful voice that does not sound particularly feminine. 18
Personality
Lin Fei is forceful, confident, and highly demanding as an instructor. He does not tolerate poor teaching or weak effort, physically punishing Lei Long for failing to properly explain the Soul Whale Fist and docking his salary to compensate the students. 18 19
His methods are often harsh and theatrical, but he takes genuine interest in exceptional students. He identifies Lin Ye as the highest-potential member of the batch, gives Lin Ye, Yan Yi, and Wei Qian intensive private training, and improves their conditioning through medicinal baths and treatment. 20 25 30
Lin Fei is also eccentric and mischievous, openly enjoying the discomfort caused by his training and massages. Despite this, he carefully observes his students’ personalities, judging Lin Ye’s questions as an attempt to determine his own “ecological niche” rather than merely seek instruction. 20 26
