• Li Qiming told Master Kongxin he had come to study the Supreme Buddhist Dharma and offered to resolve Golden Sun Temple’s crisis in exchange.
• Master Wuxiang attacked Li Qiming, who used Hidden Domain, his martial intents, and the Brahma Heaven Eye to outmaneuver him and sever his head.

As Li Qiming entered the city and headed for the Demon Suppression Division, Liangzi discovered a strange crystal that seemed to have strengthened him, then was ambushed by the Clearwater Gang.

• At Laifu Restaurant, Bean Bun claimed that Li Qiming had fought Meng Hailong’s Yin Spirit Avatar, though Bai Yu and other martial artists doubted the story.
• A Court Thousand-Mile Messenger Bird delivered orders identifying Li Qiming as the blind prodigy and instructing Bai Yu to recruit him or eliminate him; Bai Yu chose to pursue a killing instead.

At the Danzhou Demon Suppression Division headquarters, Li Qiming and Shen Changsheng learned that a transformed great demon had appeared on Hidden Dragon Mountain and joined Jiang Lianyue in going to fight it.

• Liangzi unleashed a dream-taught martial move and tore out the hearts of two of Master Jin’s men, but exhausted himself before he could resist being searched for the crystal.
• Shen Changsheng arrived, defeated Master Jin and his thugs in an instant, and told Liangzi that even ten of him could not match his junior brother Li Qiming.
• After Shen Changsheng left, Liangzi killed the wounded men, including Master Jin, and took their money; the amber crystal absorbed vital essence from their bodies, which withered into skeletons.
• Xia Bingbing and Yun'er thanked Li Qiming, Shen Changsheng, and Jiang Lianyue before heading to the Han Family on their own, while Xia Bingbing privately reflected on her growing feelings for Li Qiming.

Back at headquarters, Shen Changsheng began the Demon Catcher assessment by driving the Red-Browed Elder back with his first punch.

• The Red-Browed Elder and two other elders summoned a Golden Body that overwhelmed and destroyed the transformed python demon and her Yin Spirit.
• Li Qiming secretly touched the demon’s corpse, claimed her Python Yin Jade Bone entry, and discovered her Yin Spirit had been absorbed into his white lotus.
• The Red-Browed Elder explained that the Golden Body could only unleash its power near the Demon Suppression Division because it depended on incense power.
• The Red-Browed Elder challenged Li Qiming and Shen Changsheng to drive him back three steps within two hours as their Demon Catcher assessment.
• Shen Changsheng struck the Red-Browed Elder back one step and launched a second punch as Su Xuan, Liu Wu, and Wang Hu watched.

Shen Changsheng and Li Qiming passed the Demon Catcher assessment by displaying combat strength that astonished the elders. Seeking a spirit refining technique, they learned they could earn it by slaying the transformed great demon Azure Leopard, then headed to the Mountain of Ten Thousand Beasts, where Li Qiming captured a demon and began questioning it about Demon Catcher ranks.

• Shen Changsheng forced the Red-Browed Elder back three steps, passing the assessment, and Li Qiming then made the Second Elder stumble back three steps without injuring him.
• The First Elder explained that a spirit refining technique cost ten thousand contribution points and said Azure Leopard's corpse was worth that amount; Li Qiming and Shen Changsheng immediately set out for the Mountain of Ten Thousand Beasts.
• After reaching the mountain, Li Qiming encountered a human-faced bird that mentioned the Demon Spirit Fruit and explained that Silver Badge Demon Catchers were ranked from one to five stars.

As the battle began, Yan Huaxiong ordered his team to destroy the fruit before Azure Leopard could claim it.

• Azure Leopard attacked Yan Huaxiong while Golden Lion and Silver Lion held off Du Jia, Lan Xing, and the other Silver Badge Demon Catchers.

Li Qiming gave the fruit to Green Fox, then killed the two lions to reach ten thousand Contribution Points, while Shen Changsheng finished off Azure Leopard.

• Golden Lion and Silver Lion betrayed Azure Leopard and joined Yan Huaxiong and the Demon Catchers in attacking him, but Azure Leopard's Ten Thousand Shadow Thunderclap Hammer injured everyone and left him able to reach the Demon Spirit Fruit.
