After leaving Class C's camp with Hiyori, we followed the forest trail. Before long, we found tracks trampled by countless footprints—Class A had made a cave their base. Could this be the path leading to Class B?
Continuing onward with that question in mind, we soon arrived at Class B's camp. Its layout was completely different from Class D's. Numerous trees stood scattered around the well they had chosen as their water source, with hammocks strung between them to create a resting area.
"Who are you two over there?"
The sudden challenge from behind made me turn around. A serious-looking boy was watching us. After recognizing us, his eyes widened slightly. "Shiina from Class C and Hikigaya from Class D? What brings you to Class B's camp?"
"We just happened to end up here while gathering information... By the way, is Ichinose around?"
"She isn't here right now. If you need to leave a message—" Before the boy could finish, a cheerful female voice cut in.
"Oh? Isn't that Hikigaya-kun and little Hiyori?" Ichinose, dressed in sportswear, emerged from the woods with several girls. Noticing the hostile glare one of the girls behind her was directing at me, I chose to ignore it—after all, I was already used to this treatment.
"Hey, you two! How have you been?" Ichinose waved energetically.
"So-so. Anyway, do you have time right now? I have information about Class A's leader to share." The moment I said that, the Class B students around us immediately tensed.
"What a surprise. I didn't expect Hikigaya-kun to offer information on his own initiative." Ichinose gave a wry smile and gestured for us to enter the camp. "Don't stand around at the entrance. Why not come in and sit down?"
"We're from another class, you know?"
