History

Suzune entered the school with excellent entrance-exam results in both academics and physical fitness, yet was placed in Class D. Unable to accept the assignment, she confronted Sae Chabashira, who told her that Class D was the place most suitable for her and challenged her to lead the class against Class A. 16

Her determination to reach Class A is tied to her strained relationship with her older brother, Student Council President Manabu Horikita. When Suzune declared that she would catch up to him and promote to Class A, Manabu rejected her ambition and assaulted her until Ayanokoji intervened. 21
