When Class D learns the consequences of its zero class points, Ayanokoji is called to Sae Chabashira's office alongside Shinjo and Suzune. There, his entrance-exam scores of exactly 50 in every subject expose his deliberate control over his grades. 16

Conflict with Ryuen

While defending Kei Karuizawa from Ryuen's group, Shinjo falsely identifies himself as “Kiyotaka Ayanokoji.” Ryuen accepts the name and marks Ayanokoji as a future target. 18 The confusion escalates when Class C students later refer to Shinjo as “Shinjo Kiyotaka Ayanokoji,” leaving Ayanokoji caught in a conflict he did not initiate. 31
