Spoilers deserve to die!
"Just kidding, how could I possibly spoil anything!"
Shuya remained outwardly calm, flashing a perfect smile: "I hate spoilers more than anything in my life! How could I ever do such a thing!"
His survival instinct was in full swing!
Section 35 34 Why is the teacher here?
The killing intent dissipated.
The middle-aged women smiled again, while Shuya's back was drenched in cold sweat.
He barely managed to muster the energy to exchange a few words before making an excuse to go play with the Quintuplets and slipping away.
Even playing in the mud with the Quintuplets was better than being mauled by those women.
Shuya focused on playing with the five little huskies, not daring to look at the women at all; he looked exactly like a student being called on by a teacher during class.
He didn't dare make eye contact.
Once the Quintuplets were finished playing, Shuya whisked them home at lightning speed.
After bathing with them, Shuya finally calmed down, warning himself in his heart to remember never to spoil things again, or he might actually get beaten to death.
After drying the Quintuplets' hair, he heard the sound of the front door opening.
Shuya poked his head out to look, and to his surprise, it was Rena who had returned.
"Big Sister Rena, so early today?"
Shuya asked curiously, checking the time; it wasn't even seven o'clock yet.
She usually came back much later.
"Mom!"
"Mommy!"
The five little huskies rushed out and hugged Rena's legs. Damn it, I'm so jealous!
"Mm, the other teachers left early, so I did too."
Rena patted the Quintuplets' heads, offering an explanation.
She looked helplessly at the daughters surrounding her, wanting to walk inside to put down the things in her hands, but clearly, she couldn't.
She had just returned from grocery shopping.
"Let me."
Shuya hurriedly went up to brown-nose a bit.
He eagerly took the bags, and Rena smiled, "Thank you."
Shuya's mood became incredibly good.
He placed the items on the living room table, and after a short wait, Rena changed into her loungewear.
It was time for Shuya's favorite activity: watching those long, fair legs.
Rena didn't rest and immediately started cooking, making enough for Shuya as well.
Recently, Shuya's spendthrift parents were either not coming home or coming home late, so he didn't need to tell them not to save him any food.
The reason for Rena coming home early was simple.
While cooking, she told Shuya that the other teachers were all rushing home to watch anime.
After two months of airing, Alien Baby Hikari-chan had firmly captured the hearts of its audience with ten episodes.
The results were gratifying.
The cliffhanger at the end of the tenth episode was so intense that everyone wanted to see how the eleventh episode would unfold.
It was roughly that feeling of: "I'm going to die if I don't get to watch Alien Baby Hikari-chan.jpg."
Rena finished cooking, and Shuya ate with them while watching TV, just like millions of other families at that moment.
The Great Hua Administrative District was also broadcasting Alien Baby Hikari-chan simultaneously.
It could be said to be very popular.
(If you really don't want to watch, feel free to skip ahead, and if you feel like you can't follow the plot later, just come back and flip through it. But I can say that I have always written with care, not just to pad the word count. Decide for yourself whether to read it or not.)
Alien Baby Hikari-chan episode eleven is now airing.
After Uesugi Yuichi received a positive reply from Hikari-chan, he immediately took him out.
He hopped on his bicycle and, under Hikari-chan's guidance, sped toward the home of Yuzuki Sasaki.
After riding for nearly an hour and a half, Uesugi Yuichi, panting like a dog, finally arrived at his destination.
Yuzuki's home was not an apartment, but a two-story detached house with a garden, belonging to someone quite wealthy.
"Sasaki..."
Uesugi Yuichi parked his bicycle near the house and stared at Yuzuki's home.
From his angle, he could see a light on in a room on the second floor, where a young girl was slumped blankly over a desk, motionless, as if she had fallen asleep or was simply lost in thought.
"..."
The camera zoomed in on Uesugi Yuichi, his eyes unfocused as he sank into his memories.
"Die..."
He whispered the name unconsciously.
Hm? Countless viewers furrowed their brows, sensing a story behind it.
From previous episodes, the audience knew that Uesugi Yuichi had been married, but information about his wife had never been revealed.
The name he had just let slip must be that of his late wife.
Could it be that he had experienced a similar scene in the past? Everyone began to speculate.
But the animation would not pause for their confusion.
Hearing Uesugi Yuichi's sigh, Hikari-chan asked in confusion, "Da?"
He reached out his chubby little hand and patted Uesugi Yuichi's face.
"I'm fine." Uesugi Yuichi smiled. "More importantly, let's head over there."
As for how to get up to see Yuzuki Sasaki, that was not a difficult task.
Why not ask the magical Hikari-chan?
Hikari-chan carried Uesugi Yuichi as they flew up to the balcony outside Yuzuki's room.
They landed safely.
Uesugi Yuichi held Hikari-chan in his left arm and gently knocked on the glass door between the balcony and the room with his right hand.
Knock, knock.
Yuzuki Sasaki heard the faint sound and looked up.
"Uesugi-sensei?!"
Screech—!
She stood up in shock, causing her chair to slide backward and scrape against the floor with a harsh sound.
"Oh no!"
"Ah!"
Both Uesugi Yuichi and Yuzuki turned pale, watching the wide-open bedroom door nervously.
Fortunately, Yuzuki's parents were not disturbed; her mother simply called out from afar, "Yuzuki? Keep it down, don't disturb the neighbors."
"Got it!"
Yuzuki replied immediately.
She then carefully closed the bedroom door, hurried over to the glass door, and slid it open with light, cautious movements.
"Um... good evening."
Uesugi Yuichi gave an awkward smile and raised his hand to greet her.
Hikari-chan giggled, reaching out his arms toward her to ask for a hug.
Yuzuki Sasaki took the tiny Hikari-chan, kissed his cheek, and then said to Uesugi Yuichi:
"Uesugi-sensei, Hikari-chan, why are you here!"
Yuzuki's little face was full of surprise, and the melancholy from before had been cast away to who knows how many light-years away.
"Come in, quickly."
Yuzuki said, carrying Hikari-chan back to sit on the bed.
"Excuse the intrusion."
At this point, Uesugi Yuichi no longer bothered to dwell on whether it was appropriate to enter a female student's room at night.
Before this, he had essentially committed trespassing.
Uesugi Yuichi took off his shoes on the balcony and stepped into the room.
He subconsciously scanned the room.
Yuzuki's room was very simple, not filled with trinkets like those of other young girls.
Instead, it was packed with art books and sketchbooks.
There were no clothes or personal items in sight; Yuzuki's room was kept very tidy.
"Hm?"
The only thing that caught Uesugi Yuichi's attention was a sketchbook lying on the desk.
Beside the sketchbook lay a pencil and an eraser.
Out of professional habit, his hand had already picked it up before he could even consider whether it was right to look.
"Wait! You can't look!"
Yuzuki whispered in a panic, snatching the sketchbook away and hiding it behind her back.
"Ah? Oh, sorry."
Uesugi Yuichi was startled; he had only caught a glimpse of a person drawn in the sketchbook before it was taken away.
"It's, it's fine."
Yuzuki said softly, pulling back Hikari-chan, who was curiously trying to grab the sketchbook to play with.
As she was too shy to speak, an awkward silence fell over the room.
Uesugi Yuichi felt completely uneasy. Sneaking into the room of a female high school student—who was also his own student—in the middle of the night; if anyone found out, he would probably suffer social death immediately, right?
He decided to resolve the matter quickly.
"Um, Sasaki, about the reason I came here..."
Uesugi Yuichi got straight to the point and began talking with Yuzuki.
Yuzuki gloomily told him the reason she couldn't go to art class.
Uesuki Yuichi didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "It, it's really just because of a reason like that?"
Yuzuki sighed adorably: "Yeah."
The two of them looked at each other and couldn't help but chuckle.
But soon, their smiles froze.
