"Ah, Nico-senpai," Honoka Kosaka called from the doorway, but there was no response from inside.
"Tch, what a pain..." Senba Gari clicked his tongue.
"Pretty spiritual, everyone." Nozomi Tojo's voice came from behind Senba Gari, Honoka Kosaka, and the others. "So you really did get driven out."
"Well then, you three second-years, could I have a word?" Nozomi Tojo said.
After the Rain, Clear Skies
Nozomi Tojo brought Honoka Kosaka, Umi Sonoda, and Minami Kotori to the school gate. The weather was still miserable, with no sign of clearing up at all.
Taking that opportunity, Nozomi Tojo also told Honoka Kosaka and the others a few things about Yazawa Nico.
"A school idol?"
"Nico-senpai was?" Honoka Kosaka and Umi Sonoda asked, a little surprised.
"Probably when she was a first-year. She even started a group with people in her year, though it's already disbanded now."
"She stopped being an idol?" Minami Kotori tilted her head and asked.
"The people other than Nico..." Nozomi Tojo paused, slowly recalling what had happened back then. "It seems her goals as an idol were set too high. First, one person said they couldn't keep up with her and quit, then others quit after that."
Hearing that, Honoka Kosaka couldn't help thinking.
If, back when she started a school idol group, Umi Sonoda and Minami Kotori had both left the group, how would she have felt? What would have happened after that?
"So that's why she envies you, right? She says your singing is bad and nitpicks your dancing, but the fact that she does that means she's watching you because she's really interested."
After Nozomi Tojo told Honoka Kosaka and the others everything she knew, she went off to handle her own business. Honoka Kosaka and the others naturally prepared to go home too.
