Kamuro Masumi fell silent. She shouldn't have expected much from this guy; how could she have ever thought he was a monster in the first place?
He really is a pervert...

Chapter 41: Sooner or Later, I'll Stomp Him Into the Ground
For Suzuki Toru, fulfilling wishes wasn't something shameful.
Or perhaps, the reason he felt compelled to fulfill them wasn't just because of the Wish Machine's requirements, but also because he found these wishes slightly interesting himself.
Of course, even if he couldn't fulfill certain wishes, it didn't matter; after all, the Wish Machine didn't hold him to any KPI performance metrics.
Perhaps sensing Suzuki Toru's thoughts, Sakayanagi Arisu blinked and asked with a feigned air of curiosity, "I don't think I heard you. What were you going to call me?"
Suzuki Toru hadn't intended to play along, but if he said it now, would it count as fulfilling the wish?
"Mistress, please, you must step on me with your ice cream."
Kamuro Masumi stared at this man with a numb expression. He hadn't even hesitated or frowned; he said it as naturally as if he were greeting someone he'd bumped into on the street.
No, wait. Logically speaking, he had a decent enough face to easily coax a few young girls into letting him be stepped on in private if he wanted. Why would he say something like that to her and Sakayanagi Arisu?
Could it be that he was certain she wouldn't actually do it?
In that instant, Kamuro Masumi felt as if she had discovered the truth.
Sakayanagi Arisu was stunned for a moment, then smiled brightly. "To be able to say something like that so frankly, I suppose I should consider giving you a reward."
Suzuki Toru took a glance; the wish hadn't been fulfilled.
In other words, this middle schooler hadn't taken his words seriously, so the wish didn't count.
No, perhaps Sakayanagi Arisu was just teasing him. As for the "reward," she likely had no intention of actually giving him one.
If this were in the past, Suzuki Toru would have used the excuse of a massage to grab her calves and try to fulfill the wish.
But he wasn't a producer anymore, and besides, Sakayanagi Arisu wasn't about to perform any dances, so a massage was definitely out of the question.
"Next time, it'll be your turn to call me Master, and I won't go easy on you." Suzuki Toru withdrew his gaze from her. "I know why you're looking for me, but I don't need to borrow power from other classes to defeat you. I think Katsuragi alone is enough."
The atmosphere turned icy.
Sakayanagi Arisu's smile didn't falter in the slightest, yet it made Kamuro Masumi instinctively hug her own arms. You couldn't even tell this girl was angry when she was actually furious.
"Hehehe, it seems I was overthinking things. Seeing Suzuki-kun being so active with other classes, I thought you might be trying to utilize students from elsewhere."
Making Horikita Suzune of Class D owe a debt, and having Kamuro Masumi tail Kushida Kikyo—these things gave Sakayanagi Arisu a hint of what was going on.
It just wasn't clear if she knew about the situation in Class C.
However, Suzuki Toru hadn't heard any rumors; Ryuen Kakeru seemed to have a tight grip on his class. He had underestimated him.
"You were originally waiting for Katsuragi to lose his bid for the student council, weren't you?" Suzuki Toru studied the girl's expression. Her flawless, pretty face was something he could never grow tired of looking at.
Despite her limited mobility, her legs didn't look bad at all. In fact, they were full of an inexplicable, youthful vitality, and the curve of her calves looked soft and supple—the kind of thing he wanted to hold and examine closely in his hands.
"It's very rude to guess a girl's thoughts like that. I have always been very satisfied with Katsuragi-kun; if it weren't for me, he would surely be the leader of everyone."
Sakayanagi Arisu denied Suzuki Toru's theory, though it didn't sound like a complete denial.
"By comparison, Suzuki-kun is always alone, which worries me. Could it be that you have an introverted personality and aren't good at handling interpersonal relationships?" Sakayanagi Arisu sighed deeply. "But your words just now changed my perspective. You have such a perverse hobby, and you don't even bother to hide it."
Was she scolding him?
Also, she specifically avoided using the word "disgusting," for which he was truly grateful for her tact.
"Don't you want to beat me, make me kneel on the ground and call you Mistress, and then be stepped on by you?" Suzuki Toru asked.
In an instant, both Sakayanagi Arisu and Kamuro Masumi fell silent.
What was this question that seemed to come from the depths of his soul?
Moreover, Sakayanagi Arisu found that she was actually a little tempted.
Fortunately, she quickly extinguished that thought.
No matter who wanted to step on him, she certainly wasn't going to reward this guy.
"Hehe, please look forward to your future life with that thought in mind, Suzuki-kun."
Sakayanagi Arisu rose gracefully from her seat; she had only intended to chat with Suzuki Toru for a moment.
Watching her leave, Suzuki Toru continued to pack up his notebook.
"Hey, do you really want to be stepped on by Sakayanagi?" Kamuro Masumi stared at him, bewildered.
"You can step on me too, if you want, but only once."
Hearing his reply, Kamuro Masumi curled her lip. This guy must be betting that no matter how much he spouted nonsense, she and Sakayanagi Arisu would never actually do it.
Wait, if that was the case, couldn't she just wait for a day when Suzuki Toru was spouting nonsense and just step on him?
Kamuro Masumi found herself feeling a little tempted, too.
To him, it should count as a reward, so it wouldn't be like she was doing something too terrible, right?
Come to think of it, Kamuro Masumi had wanted to teach him a lesson for a long time.
However, at this moment, Suzuki Toru suddenly asked, "Is Horikita's contract still with you?"
"It's with me. Are you going to take it away?" Kamuro Masumi recalled the contract from back then. "By the way, the contract is signed in my name. Are you going to give me 400,000 Private Points for nothing?"
Suzuki Toru stared calmly into her eyes and said softly, "Kamuro-san, you wouldn't want to lose your chance to pilfer things in the future, would you?"
As if frozen by him, Kamuro Masumi's entire body stiffened.
Right, that's it. She almost forgot that this guy, just like Sakayanagi Arisu, held leverage over her.
"If you don't want to give it, then don't! Why did you have to use my name!" Kamuro Masumi took the contract out of her bag with a show of bravado, then just as defiantly placed it gently on Suzuki Toru's desk.
"What's yours is mine; there is no difference." Suzuki Toru glanced at the contract before tucking it into his own bag.
What kind of robber logic was that? Kamuro Masumi was nearly fuming with rage.
Suzuki Toru, however, thought it was perfectly normal. If Sakayanagi Arisu could hold leverage over Kamuro Masumi, why should he concede to Sakayanagi Arisu?
Since she could be Sakayanagi Arisu's dog, there was no reason she couldn't be his.
Of course, Suzuki Toru was only thinking this to himself for now; he wouldn't reveal too much. He had to boil the frog in warm water, get her used to it, and reduce her resistance.
Although it sounded like the behavior of a scumbag, he would try to be as gentle as possible and not hurt Kamuro Masumi.
Following this, Suzuki Toru had nothing to do; he would either chat with Morishita Ai occasionally or wander outside for a while to collect information regarding wishes.
Soon, he switched to a new notebook.
As time passed, the first-year students welcomed their first test.
Chapter 42: A Mere Quiz
"Since it is almost the end of the month, there will be no class today. We are going to have a small quiz now, so please take it seriously."
Mashima Tomoya stood on the podium, handing the test papers to the students in the front row and having them pass them back one by one.
Before long, Suzuki Toru also received his paper. A quick glance showed questions from five subjects; the number of questions was small, and it looked like nothing more than a simple quiz.
"Excuse me, Mashima-sensei, is this a real exam?" Katsuragi Kohei raised his hand and asked.
Mashima Tomoya's expression didn't change as he replied indifferently, "It doesn't count as an exam, and it won't appear on your report cards. It is merely for future reference. However, perhaps in a certain sense, it is an important test for you all."
This homeroom teacher always spoke in riddles and felt the need to emphasize the end, as if afraid everyone wouldn't catch his meaning. Was this special treatment for Class A?
However, it was clear he knew exactly what Katsuragi Kohei was asking. A "real exam," of course, referred to tests that could affect Class Points.
Mashima Tomoya had denied Katsuragi Kohei's question, yet he had also made it clear that this quiz was equally important.
Not only did Katsuragi Kohei understand his words, but many others also wore expressions of surprise.
However, there was one strange thing.
If it didn't involve Class Points, why was this quiz still important?
Suzuki Toru twirled his pen, and then the bell signaling the official start of the exam rang.
Most of the questions were very simple, with only a few on the back being somewhat difficult, especially the long-form math problems.
"Tsk..."
A sound of dissatisfaction came from Kamuro Masumi beside him, and he glanced over with his peripheral vision.
A very conflicted expression appeared on her face, and her pen tip hovered back and forth between two options, seemingly unsure which one to choose.
No way, was she stumped by the second question?
Suzuki Toru fell silent. She usually listened in class, so logically, solving the earlier problems should be easy and not too difficult.
Unless she had been trying very hard to listen, but the knowledge just wouldn't stick.
"Che..." Kamuro Masumi seemed to notice his thoughts, suddenly glared at him, and subconsciously shielded her test paper.
Who would want to copy your answers!
With her blocking it like that, Suzuki Toru almost laughed out of frustration. He stopped paying attention to the girl and simply filled in his answers immediately to avoid any misunderstandings.
Until the bell rang for the end of class, Kamuro Masumi watched with great reluctance as her answer sheet was collected by Mashima Tomoya.
Suzuki Toru couldn't help but glance at it; many of the questions were filled out, which surprised him slightly regarding Kamuro Masumi.
Although she got them wrong, he could see she was answering the questions seriously. He had thought she would just give up entirely.
"Hey, what's that look for? That pitying gaze is really infuriating!" Kamuro Masumi seemed unable to stand his stare, her expression turning hostile.
"Do you want me to tutor you?" Suzuki Toru looked at her as gently as he could.
"Who wants your help? It's just a quiz of this level; I don't care at all!" Kamuro Masumi couldn't save face. Why did he have to ask that? She was a student in Class A just like him; how could her studies be inferior to his?
Suzuki Toru had experienced her stubbornness more than once. No, rather than stubbornness, it was more like she was running away from reality.
As long as it was something she didn't want to face, or if she encountered a question she couldn't answer, she would immediately want to end the conversation and use a harsh tone to snap at people, trying to cover up her own insecurity.
However, no matter how stubborn her mouth was, her body was just as soft.
A few days later, Kamuro Masumi soon felt regret.
