Suzune entered the school in Class D, the lowest-ranked first-year class. She chose the school partly to follow in the footsteps of her older brother, Student Council President Manabu Horikita, but their reunion became a harsh confrontation: Manabu told her she lacked the strength and qualifications to catch up to him, while Suzune insisted she was no longer the “good-for-nothing” he knew. 13
