The Threat: 4 Million Points from Class C

"What are you planning to do, Karuizawa?"

Yi Chen looked at Karuizawa impassively.

Karuizawa's gaze was unfocused.

"I don't know."

Yi Chen sighed softly and patted Karuizawa's shoulder.

"We have evidence that they bullied you. If we give the video to the school, they'll definitely be expelled."

Karuizawa bit her lip, her face full of hesitation.

Yi Chen waited quietly for her answer.

After hesitating for a while, Karuizawa said, "But... if we hand over the video, they'll hate me. They might even make things worse for me later. And if everyone finds out I was bullied, will they look at me differently...?"

"Okay, I understand," Yi Chen said calmly.

"Are you feeling all right physically?"

Karuizawa shook her head slightly and replied softly, "Physically, I'm mostly fine. It's just... I'm still a mess inside."

Looking at her worried expression, Yi Chen felt helpless.

"Don't overthink it. I'll protect you from now on."

Karuizawa looked up at Yi Chen, a flicker of gratitude in her eyes.

"Thank you, Yi Chen."

"It's nothing. Since you don't want anyone to know you were bullied, how about at least making them compensate you?"

Karuizawa's eyes filled with tears.

"Compensate me?"

"Personal points, or something else? You can ask for whatever you want. I have the video."

"I don't want anyone to know I was bullied. Let's just forget it."

"Don't worry. I won't let them tell anyone, and they'll compensate you with points in private."

"Do whatever you want," Karuizawa said softly.

"If you're feeling all right, you can head back first."

"I'll handle things here."

Karuizawa looked at Yi Chen sadly, then turned and left with regret.

Yi Chen returned to the Storage Room with his phone.

The three Zhenguo girls had helped each other to their feet.

Rika was kneeling on the floor, staring blankly at it.

Yi Chen walked in.

All three glared at him viciously.

Yi Chen slowly approached, looking at them coolly.

Zhenguo snapped, "You bastard, what else do you want?"

Yabu Cai and Yamashita watched Yi Chen warily, too.

Yi Chen played the recording on his phone for them.

"I've recorded the whole time you bullied Karuizawa," Yi Chen said calmly.

Zhenguo snarled, "What do you want? You hit us, too."

Yi Chen sighed. "Zhenguo Zhibao, don't pretend you're clever. Look around."

"Nothing here is useful. There aren't even any cameras in this storage room."

Zhenguo's nose flared with anger.

"So what? The injuries you gave us are enough for us to report you."

Yi Chen slipped his phone into his bag and spread his hands, looking helpless.

Zhenguo smiled smugly.

"You hurt yourselves. How is that my problem? Why do you like putting on an act so much?"

"I'm not getting anything out of you. I'll just show Ryuen."

"I hope Ryuen isn't like you."

Zhenguo glared at him furiously. "You wouldn't dare!"

Yamashita stopped Zhenguo from losing her temper and asked calmly, "What do you want, Angela Yi Chen?"

Yi Chen thought it over.

Koenji had already answered, so even after the 50-point deduction,

there were still seven groups. Subtracting my group and the three groups from Class B,

that leaves four groups.

If I get every answer right, everyone in that Class B group gets 500,000.

Class C gets 2 million personal points.

And that's on top of the points the school gives us each month.

Yi Chen calmly held up four fingers.

Yamashita understood. "40,000 points? Fine."

Zhenguo started to speak, but Yabu Cai covered her mouth and leaned close to her ear.

"Zhenguo, calm down. He has something on us."

"If you keep provoking him, we'll all get expelled."

Hearing that, Zhenguo regained her composure and glared at Yi Chen viciously.

Yi Chen shook his head and wagged a finger.

Yamashita looked flustered. "400,000 each...? Fine, that works too."

Yi Chen shook his head again.

Yamashita stared at him in disbelief. "4 million?"

Zhenguo gritted her teeth. "4 million? What gives you the right? We don't have that much."

Yi Chen smiled disdainfully.

"I want 4 million personal points."

Their faces turned pale, then flushed.

Yamashita gritted her teeth. "4 million personal points? You're asking for the moon. We can't possibly get that much."

Yi Chen crossed his arms, his expression calm.

"It shouldn't be hard to get 4 million personal points from this exam."

"If you can't get them, that's your problem. Either I give the video to the school right now and you wait to be expelled..."

"Or you scrape together the 4 million and give it to me. I'll pretend this never happened and delete the video. You choose."

Zhenguo's eyes widened with anger, but she didn't dare make too much of a scene. She could only lower her voice and yell, "Don't push it! Even if the exam can earn us a lot of personal points, the whole group has to work together!"

Yi Chen frowned slightly, impatient. "That's for you to figure out. You have three days. If the 4 million points aren't in my account by then, well, you know what happens."

With that, Yi Chen turned to leave.

Yabu Cai hurriedly called out, "Wait! Can't we negotiate? Could you lower it? There's no way we can get that much."

Without turning around, Yi Chen waved his phone at them.

"No negotiations. Why didn't you think about the consequences before bullying someone? This is already the lightest punishment I could give you."

The three watched Yi Chen leave, furious and helpless.

Zhenguo stomped her foot. "What are we supposed to do? 4 million! Where are we going to get that much?"

Yamashita furrowed her brows and thought for a long while. "We're done for. How could we possibly get 4 million?"

Yabu Cai slumped to the floor in a panic. "It's over. We're completely finished."

Thinking that she might be expelled, Zhenguo started to panic, too. She felt like her world was falling apart.

Rika slowly stood up, her expression darkening.

Rika grabbed Zhenguo by the collar and shouted furiously, "This is all your fault! You did this to us!"

Zhenguo, already furious, slapped Rika across the face.

Rika lunged at Zhenguo and grabbed her hair.

Zhenguo seized Rika's hair, and neither of them would back down.

Rika's eyes were bloodshot.

"It's all your fault! I said to let it go, but you had to stick your nose in!"

"If I get expelled, I'll never forgive you for as long as I live."

Zhenguo snapped furiously, "You bitch! You were having a great time beating her up just now, too!"

"Why are you pretending now? Get off me!"

Rika kept repeating, "If I get expelled, you can go die! Just go die!"

As she repeated herself, she yanked Zhenguo's hair even harder.

"Ah!"

Zhenguo cried out in pain.

Yamashita and Yabu Cai hurriedly pulled the two apart.

But Rika seemed utterly hopeless and just kept repeating herself.

Yamashita hurriedly said, "Rika, you won't be expelled!"

Rika didn't listen.

"We can ask Ryuen! He'll definitely find a way for us to get 4 million personal points in this exam!"

Rika came to her senses.

"Ryuen? Ryuen!"

Rika slowly let go.

Zhenguo was already in tears from the pain.

Rika glared viciously at Zhenguo.

"You go ask Ryuen! This is all your fault in the first place."

Yabu Cai watched Rika anxiously, her voice tinged with apology.

"Rika, don't panic. This exam can earn us a lot of points. If we ask Ryuen, I'm sure we can do it."

Rika glared at them viciously.

"Let's hope so!"

Rika adjusted her black-framed glasses, then left.

Zhenguo touched her hair and watched Rika's retreating figure with tears on her face, her gaze full of hatred.

She muttered under her breath, "Bitch."

Rika turned back to look at Zhen Guo with a murderous glare.

Zhen Guo looked at Rika in terror.

Rika turned and left anyway.

Afterward, Zhen Guo and the other two supported one another as they made their way to where Ryuen was. They were all on edge, wondering how they should bring it up with him.

Meanwhile, after Karuizawa returned to her room, she still felt uneasy.

Although Yi Chen had said he would take care of everything, she couldn't help worrying that those people might come after her again. She tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
