In the seventh courtyard, twin gate towers stood to the south; halls over fifty feet tall stood to the east and west; and directly north stood the main hall of the entire palace complex.

This main hall was not particularly large, about the same size as the halls on either side.

All the mist in the Purple Gold River valley spewed forth from this main hall.

The clouds and mist here were far denser than those outside.

Within the courtyard, however, the buildings remained extremely well preserved.

Clearly, this courtyard had likely never been breached.

That meant there had to be quite a few valuable things inside.

But every advantage came with a disadvantage. Entering the courtyard would be far more difficult as well.

The formation inheritance left behind by the True Man of Five Elements was only top-grade Fourth-order.

He had also mentioned some legendary high-grade formations.

But he had ultimately been a Rogue Cultivator, so he could not have encountered many high-grade formations.

Since the formation around this great hall had never been damaged, it must have been a Fifth-order formation or even higher in those days.
