True Person Kui Tian took out a white jade compass. After injecting spiritual power into it, several rays of light flew out from the compass.

Once they left the compass, the rays of light became invisible.

Half an hour later, all the rays of light flew back into the compass.

A patch of grayish-white mist appeared above it, with faint red light hidden within.

Only at the center of the mist was there a blood-red dot.

True Person Kui Tian looked somewhat puzzled. "An enormous number of human and Devil Race cultivators died in Ascension Valley back then. It is not strange for there to be some Demonic Qi.

"But why is the place with the densest Demonic Qi not within Ascension Valley, but right here on our side? Which of you is carrying something related to the Devil Race?"

Wang Daoyuan answered, "My robe was refined from Devil Race wings. It was refined only a few centuries ago, so it should still contain quite a bit of lingering Demonic Qi."

Several more rays of light flew from the compass and scanned Wang Daoyuan from head to toe. Only then did True Person Kui Tian nod. "It really is the robe. There are no obvious remnants of Demonic Qi nearby. At the very least, no Devil Race members have appeared here recently."

True Person Wujian asked, "Martial Uncle Kui Tian, there are many Minor Secret Realms nearby. Can you investigate the conditions inside them?"

True Person Kui Tian smiled. "That would truly be asking too much of me. Secret realms are separated from the outside world by Spatial Laws.

"No spell can cross a secret realm's entrance.

"Unless one is a cultivator who has mastered Spatial Laws, no one can investigate the situation inside a secret realm from outside it.
