As Theus prepared to burn Count Bazel as fuel for Blood Port’s new energy hub, Bazel revealed that Lina was a [Named One], and the ceremony began before a vast crowd.

• Beatrice survived the Skyveil Behemoth’s overwhelming presence, and whispers calmed her as she recovered from the Pollution in her body.
• Monica took Beatrice on a dangerous Nitroglycerin-powered car and paraglider ride, and Beatrice fought Nini before law enforcers brought her to Theus.
• Beatrice was driven mad by the evil god inside the Stellar Furnace, then recovered when it calmed after looking at her through the observation window.
• Theus arranged for Beatrice to stay at Castel and had a furnace-like room built for her, while he planned a new Stellar Furnace for Blood Port using Count Bazel’s Pollution.
• Bettis guided Grisha and the Expeditionary Force through Blood Port, where Grisha learned Bazel would be burned at the new energy hub’s ignition ceremony.
• Bazel told Theus that Lina was a [Named One] who had directed him to oppose Theus, and Theus ordered security tightened for the ceremony.

Theus allied with Isabella, tested the Tsunami Generator, and began preparing for war against the Empire while investigating the powers and shells connected to the Named Ones. The Expeditionary Force expanded into the Northern Territory, and Old Vance saw Castel’s seawater plan in action as Lina entered Jules’s schemes in Rhine.

• Theus recognized Isabella in Bazel’s newly forming body, learned that she had faked her death and escaped to the Duchy of Tis, and agreed to join her fight against the Empire and Holy See.
• Theus sent Nini to contact Frey and planned to use Castel’s tide-controlling Storm Generator to refill old river channels with seawater, while organizing the Expeditionary Force for its campaign toward Rhine.
• The Expeditionary Force brought injured worker Old Vance to Blood Port, where Nini treated him for free, and news of the care and wages drew more workers to the railway project.
• Theus and his team tested the Tsunami Generator at Gem Bay, where Beatrice encountered the evil god inside the Stellar Furnace and Theus found the generator could flood and devastate coastal test sites.
• Theus entered Worker Theus and discovered that Little Gwen had become a Bone Colossus, then raised a vast wall of seawater before the shell died and he lost access to its power.
• Theus learned from Beatrice about Transcendents and Named Ones, then awakened Lina’s sealed vessel at Experiment Site No. 7 and briefly controlled it as a shell.
• Lina warned Jules that Castel and the Duchy of Tis were preparing to attack the Empire, while Jules used Bruno’s merged memories to convince Lina to help his supposed great mission and secretly sent Beatrice a warning about Theus.
• After the Expeditionary Force paid Old Vance compensation and took over the city lord’s residence, Old Vance moved with his family to Blood Port, survived a tsunami, and watched workers channel seawater into a dry river valley.

Theus investigated the vanished seawater and the Untouchables, while Isabella expanded Tis’s wartime forces and led devastating cavalry attacks. Nini and the Banshees found the Untouchables beneath Rhine, but Jules’s assault forced them to retreat through the underground river as Big Guy brought down the cave around him.

• Theus found Isabella draining the energy core, and she left the forge to help reform Tis and expand its industrial war effort.
• Frey found Jules’s letter to Beatrice, and Theus learned from Chloe that the churches sought power and knowledge rather than worshipping gods.
• Theus ordered military expansion and investigations into the hidden history of gods, while researchers traced Tis’s rivers to underground waterways.
• Isabella led rifle-armed Knights and Galahad against the Empire, breaking its lines before ordering her forces to adopt new weapons and tactics.
• Little Bu reached Castel with Jules’s letter, impressed Theus with her knowledge, and drew Nini a map of the underground route to Rhine.
• Nini and the Banshees reached the Untouchables’ cavern, where Nini met Frey before a cave-in exposed them to the Candlelight Society’s invading forces.
• Jules’s priests wounded Nini and Una, but Una restored Nini through their Symbiotic Pact and Ash’s Banshees arrived to fight.
• Jules’s polluted conjured weapons overwhelmed the defenders, so Ash ordered the Banshees and Untouchables to retreat while Frey sent Big Guy charging into Jules and collapsing the cave.

After Jules defeated the Banshees, Theus reorganized Castel’s forces and armed Tis against the Holy See’s Steam Tanks. Nora and Gwen joined the front, but the battle ended with Lina leading the routed soldiers toward a valley where they were found dead and facing Castel.

• Jules destroyed Big Guy, wounded Ash, and forced the Banshees and Untouchables to flee through the underground river before the Holy See sealed the cave.
• The Untouchables reunited with Little Bu at Blood Port, and Theus promised they could make Castel and Blood Port their home.
• Theus gathered his allies to rethink the Banshees’ battlefield role, then began general mobilization as Castel’s people rallied behind the alliance.
• Isabella’s army was routed by the Holy See’s Steam Tanks and mobile fortress, prompting Theus to approve new artillery and send Tis full logistical support.
• Gwen brought Nora to the front, where Nora and Gwen operated self-propelled artillery and Nora destroyed two Steam Tanks with one barrage.
• Nora and Gwen led Tis’s forces into battle, helping rout the Holy See soldiers and destroy another tank before a transformed priest tore apart Gwen’s cannon.
• Lina used the Gear Sage and the Pope’s written order to gather the routed soldiers and lead them toward a valley.
