Background

Qin Fengqing came from an ordinary, humble family. His father, Qin Nansheng, had hoped only that his wife and son could live peacefully; after his father's death, Qin nevertheless enrolled at Magic Martial University and repeatedly chose the most dangerous path available to him. He began entering the Earth Cave at Rank 2, exploring locations even Rank 4 and Rank 5 martial artists avoided. His early rewards were modest, but the experience made him unusually knowledgeable about Earth Cave routes, settlements, and opportunities. The old principal of Magic Martial University was the person closest to Qin at the school, effectively family. Qin first met him by the school's inland lake when he felt unable to stand out among his fellow students; the principal comforted him, taught him combat techniques, and continued to guide him. When the old principal and other Grandmasters sacrificed themselves during the Abyss war, Qin's grief erupted into a reckless killing frenzy against enemy Rank 4 and Rank 5 martial artists. Personality

Qin is conspicuously greedy for credits, Energy Stones, divine weapons, and profitable opportunities. He frequently calculates loot immediately, pursues risky bets, and will shamelessly ask for compensation or resources. His greed is usually tied to cultivation rather than luxury; when money cannot accelerate his gate sealing or Mental Power growth, he loses interest in it. Since Rank 4, he has used exploding Energy Stones inside his body to temper himself, and later attempted to adapt the same principle to gate sealing. During the Abyss conflict, Qin counsels Fang Ping to accept that death is unavoidable in the Earth Cave. After learning of the old principal's sacrifice, he charges alone into the enemy army and fights without defense until Lu Hao and Wang Jinyang guard him through the rampage. Rank 6 Rivalry with Wang Jinyang

Qin trains obsessively to reach Rank 6 before his match with Wang Jinyang. After losing their first post-breakthrough spar, he remains at Magic Martial to train against Wang almost daily, eventually becoming capable of trading blows evenly with him.
