Background

Fang Ping arrived in Magic City a month before enrolling at Magic Martial University, where he established a company and became the strongest freshman through the school’s orientation assessments. Seeking access to the university’s strongest figures, he chose Lu Fengrou as his master, reasoning that her status as Wu Kuishan’s wife effectively connected him to the principal as well. 172

Initially pragmatic and focused on earning resources, Fang Ping declined Wu Duoduo’s invitation to join the Martial Arts Society. His first Catacombs expedition changed him: after Tang Feng publicly accused him of hiding behind weaker martial artists, Fang Ping entered the Catacombs alone, fought enemies above his rank, and survived prolonged pursuit by Rank 4 through Rank 6 opponents. 172 176

The subsequent war against Gnawing Tooth City exposed him to the deaths of Magic Martial mentors and students. Afterward, he embarked on an invincibility path, became Rank 4, and began pursuing strength with far greater urgency. 177
