• Ning Chen fought Jun Wentian, then used Jun Wentian’s strange power to seek a cure for Ziyi while A'man carried the battle plans to Buddha Mountain.
• The Heavenly Buddha Lord and the Yama Kings defended Buddha Mountain, but the Heavenly Buddha Lord unleashed the Myriad Lotus Buddhist Realm and sacrificed himself to trap the Demon Palace army.
• Ning Chen warned the Heaven Mending Pavilion, then used his demon body to seize its Exquisite Immortal Pagoda and escaped after clashing with Jun Wentian and Wind-Letter Sect.
• The Yama Kings and their allies returned to Buddha Mountain as its barrier failed, recovered the Immortal Trapping Sword, and escaped while the Demon Palace forces withdrew.
• Nu Chang, Wu Qingying, Shenji, the Moon-Worshiping Venerable, and the Heaven Mending Pavilion joined Ning Chen, and the Underworld destroyed a Demon Palace army and defeated three members of the Seven Sins Sect.
• Nu Chang explained that Hua Zhongdie’s memories had become chaotic and that she had become a weapon of slaughter, while the Moon-Worshiping Venerable agreed to aid Ning Chen after the Moon God revealed a sealed divine artifact.
• Jun Wentian marched on the Red Luan Starfield, where Yue Zhinv killed Qi Wenzhu and Luoshen defeated Bai Wangran with Divine Punishment and a golden heavenly sword.

Ning Chen and his allies fought the Demon Palace across the starfields, losing friends and strongholds as the Devil Master’s forces advanced. After defeating Heavenly Sovereign and preparing a new base, Ning Chen confronted the Devil Master, and the Underworld was destroyed as Luoshen evacuated the Yamas.

• Shenji reached the Fourth Realm, defeated Jun Wentian, and left Ning Chen to handle the mortal world as the Red Luan army joined the battle.
• Yue Zhinv died stopping the Red-robed King Yama, and the Devil Master ended the fighting before A'man returned to Shenji Peak to mourn Shenji.
• Earth Sovereign led the Demon Palace in destroying Heaven Mending Pavilion, but a woman in white helped Ning Chen escape the siege.
• Jun Wentian and the Three Sects attacked the Underworld, where Ning Chen and the Yamas fought them until King Qi and the Ji Clan Holy Master arrived to force a retreat.
• Ning Chen and Mu Chengxue stole Sacred Radiance from the Demon Domain, while the Devil Master chose Spirit Void as his next target and Ning Chen prepared a trap around the Underworld.
• Ning Chen and his allies ambushed Earth Sovereign on the way to Spirit Void and killed her, but Heavenly Sovereign later killed Qi Yanxia while trying to uncover the masked Yamas’ identities.
• Ning Chen defeated Heavenly Sovereign and made Yin'er the new Five Officials King, then moved the Underworld to a new stronghold as the Demon Palace gathered its armies.
• Ning Chen challenged the Devil Master behind the divine barrier, and after Ning Chen unleashed Cycle of Rebirth Hell, Luoshen evacuated the Yamas as the Underworld collapsed into a vast black hole.

Ning Chen and his allies defeated the Devil Master and Xie Tiance at great cost, but Ning Chen lost his swordsmanship and a new threat arrived from beyond the world. The arc ended with Knowing Fate facing Fourth Realm invaders during his tribulation as the Divine Land Swordsman intervened.

• Mu Chengxue protected Yin’er through her heavenly tribulation, and the Heaven Speaker appeared before her final soul imprint vanished.
• Ning Chen and Lin Yuzhen joined the Ji Clan’s counteroffensive, and Yin’er’s Heavenly Punishment helped expose the Devil Master’s injuries.
• Ning Chen, Lin Yuzhen, King Qi, and the Moon-Worshiping Venerable battled the Devil Master, who was left gravely wounded as both armies withdrew.
• Ning Chen became the Moon Worshipper Clan’s High Priest, then joined the allied assault where Xie Tiance betrayed the Devil Master and absorbed his cultivation.
• Jun Wentian died after wounding Xie Tiance, and Ning Chen used the Scroll of Light and Scroll of Chaos to weaken Xie Tiance before defeating him and the awakened Devil Master.
• Ning Chen’s final sword destroyed the Devil Master, but it exhausted his sword intent and left him unable to recover his former swordsmanship.
• Powerful figures crossed into the world as the Doomsday Tribulation returned, and Sword Two died after entrusting the desolate city’s sword legacy to Knowing Fate.
• Knowing Fate fought Li Tu through his True Realm tribulation as five Fourth Realm experts gathered, until the Divine Land Swordsman arrived to confront the intruders.

Ning Chen trained under Prince Yan, then entered the hundred races’ lands and became entangled with Asahi Royal City and the Luan Clan. After pursuing the Phoenix Race’s secrets, he headed toward the Contest of Blades with Dong Yu and Xia Zhi, leaving a defeated Ao Lie behind after the Peng King intervened.

• Prince Yan fought off the Scaly Emperor’s forces, then spent twenty-eight years training Ning Chen before sending him into the Primeval Demonic Realm.
• Ning Chen entered Asahi Royal City, defeated White Demon in the arena, and joined Xuyao in fighting the twin assassins Dong Yu and Xia Zhi.
• Ning Chen saved Xia Zhi, later defeated Dong Yu, and accepted King of Asahi’s offer to compete in the Contest of Blades for the Yin-Yang Jade.
• Ning Chen brought Dong Yu and Xia Zhi to the Luan King, revealed that he was the Phoenix, and learned of the Phoenix Lord’s betrayal and the race’s extinction.
• Ning Chen sought the Phoenix Race’s secret arts at Southern Corner Mountain, where the Phoenix Lord gave him the Imperial Dao Law and then went to confront two Demonic Emperors.
• Ning Chen, Dong Yu, and Xia Zhi continued toward the contest, where Ning Chen encountered Ao Lie and attended the Jueyang King’s banquet with Gu Xin and other contenders.
• Ning Chen challenged Ao Lie at midnight, defeated him with Spring and Autumn Blade, and withdrew when the Peng King’s power emerged through Ao Lie.
