"Cough, cough.
Mm... I only reached Advanced War God-level not long ago."
Luo Feng was afraid of frightening the others, but after a few coughs, he finally told them the truth.
"Hiss! *7"
Everyone present sucked in the hot air around them.
"Eighteen? Advanced War God?"
Their minds went blank.
They'd all assumed Luo Feng was only an entry-level War God, which was already monstrous. None of them had expected him to be an Advanced War God.
"Brother Luo Feng really is... terrifying!"
It took Elder Li a while to find the right words. He'd read them in a novel before the Great Nirvana.
They were a perfect description of Luo Feng.
"So, Elder Li, can you tell me now?"
Luo Feng asked.
Elder Li took a deep breath, struggling to calm himself after the shock.
Looking at the eighteen-year-old Luo Feng, already an Advanced War God, he couldn't help marveling.
"Brother Luo Feng, you've come to the right person.
"About thirty kilometers northwest of City No. 031, there's an abandoned open-pit mine from before the Great Nirvana. A large pack of Beast General Rank Space-Splitting Lizards lives in the tunnels at the bottom of the mine.
"One of them is a Lord-level monster—a high-level dragon-type monster called the Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard.
"The Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard has tremendous attack power and incredible defense. Its ability to recover is even more remarkable.
"I heard that a Beyond War God-level powerhouse from the HR Alliance once targeted it, hoping to kill it and make some special medicinal fluid. But he failed, and the Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard is still alive and well.
"Even before the Great Nirvana, some lizards had astonishing regenerative abilities. They could easily regrow severed limbs. After the Great Nirvana, their recovery abilities evolved to become even more terrifying. As long as you can't kill one instantly, it can recover in no time."
Elder Li explained in detail.
"The Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard? Even someone beyond the War God level from the HR Alliance couldn't kill it? Sounds like one hell of a monster."
Luo Feng stroked his chin, excitement glinting in his eyes.
To him, the stronger the monster, the better. Under normal circumstances, awakening the Dragonblood Warrior bloodline required drinking dragon blood from the Saint Realm—and those dragons were all at the peak of the Saint Realm.
The blood of an ordinary ninth-level dragon might not even be enough to activate the Dragonblood Warrior bloodline within him.
So naturally, Luo Feng hoped the Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard would be as strong as possible.
"Brother Luo Feng, are you really going to challenge it? This is no joke. The Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard is far stronger than an ordinary Advanced War God.
"With your talent, you'll probably reach beyond the War God level in a few years. There's no need to take such a risk now. Is something troubling you? If you're short on money, I can lend you some. The Li Family has a little wealth."
Elder Li urged him, his face full of concern.
He didn't want such a young genius to meet an untimely end. Besides, he was thinking of introducing Luo Feng to his granddaughter.
If Luo Feng became his grandson-in-law one day, the Li Family could rise to great heights—even surpass the HR Alliance's nine core families.
"Elder Li, don't worry. I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't confident. And I won't act rashly. I'll make sure I'm fully prepared."
Luo Feng said with complete confidence.
Now that he knew his target, things were simple. He could farm points in City No. 031 first.
He still had more than 1,700 points left. If he added all of them, he could instantly become an Invincible War God—a Spiritual Telekinetic at the Invincible War God level, stronger than some Planetary Level powerhouses in certain respects.
For example, flying speed and burrowing speed.
Underground, a Spiritual Telekinetic at the Invincible War God level could be more effective than an ordinary first-level Planetary Level Martial Artist.
"Ah, since you've made up your mind, I won't try to talk you out of it. But if there's anything you need, just ask. If it's within my power, I won't refuse."
Elder Li patted Luo Feng's shoulder and spoke earnestly.
"Thank you, Elder Li. By the way, does the Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard have any particular weaknesses?"
Luo Feng asked. As the saying went, know yourself and your enemy, and you'll never lose a battle.
The Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard had managed to escape a Planetary Level powerhouse, so it clearly had some tricks up its sleeve.
Elder Li pondered for a moment, then said,
"I don't know whether an Advanced Lord-level Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard has any weaknesses.
"But as far as I know, the lower-level Beast General Rank Space-Splitting Lizards are covered in hard scales, but their bellies are relatively weak.
"I'd guess that even if the Space-Splitting Dragon Lizard has evolved into a more perfect form, it's still the same species. Its weak spot should be in roughly the same place."
"The belly? I'll remember that."
Luo Feng nodded. As long as a Flying Dagger could pierce it, he had a chance. The system's S-Rank Flying Daggers weren't for show.
"By the way, Brother Luo Feng, why are you in such a hurry to find a high-level dragon-type monster?"
Elder Li asked curiously.
He could tell Luo Feng didn't seem to need money. So what was the reason? He couldn't figure it out.
Luo Feng smiled and said,
"To be honest, Elder Li, I came across a cultivation method in an ancient ruin.
"It's a little unusual. I have to hunt powerful dragon-type monsters and use their blood to improve my strength.
"The blood of a high-level Lord dragon-type monster is very important to me."
Luo Feng thought the old man was a decent fellow, so he didn't hide the truth. This cultivation method only worked for him anyway; no one else could learn it. There was no harm in telling him.
"I see. It sounds like you've had quite the fortunate encounter, Brother Luo Feng. No wonder you've achieved so much at such a young age."
A trace of envy flashed in Elder Li's eyes, but he soon returned to his kindly smile.
"Elder Li, you're too kind. I only obtained the ancient ruin and cultivation method through a chance encounter."
Luo Feng said modestly.
"Haha, talent like yours means a bright future, no matter how you look at it."
Elder Li said with a laugh.
"I'll take your word for it, Elder Li."
Luo Feng smiled in reply. He'd accomplished what he came for and didn't plan to chat with the old man any longer. The old man was nice enough, but he talked too much. If Luo Feng didn't cut things short, he felt Elder Li could chat with him all day, just like the women who'd lived in his apartment block.
Luo Feng cupped his hands in farewell to Elder Li and the five members of the Fire Hammer Squad, then flew away.
The others watched him go, each lost in their own thoughts.
If the Li Family's younger generation learned that their usually stern, tight-lipped ancestor was actually a chatterbox—and that Luo Feng had lumped him in with the women from the apartment block—who knew what they would think?
