Chaos City Lord acknowledged Qin Zhao's impressive growth and introduced him to Darkness Master, noting Qin Zhao's unique Earth God Clone and his exceptional understanding of the Law of Space 199. Darkness Master, a peak existence of the human race, agreed to take Qin Zhao as his personal disciple, making him his first disciple in a long time 199 200.

As a disciple of Darkness Master, Qin Zhao was granted the opportunity to inherit the Yan Kong Divine General inheritance, which focused on the Earth-Space Fusion Law. The inheritance had to be completed within 5,000 years and could only be attempted at the Domain Lord limit. His stay in Chaos City for cultivation was extended 200. In the following century, Qin Zhao digested the gains from his Heavenly Bridge challenge, studied the Nine Universes Chaos Tablet, and worked on fusing his insights into the Earth and Space laws. He successfully created a prototype for spatial lockdown combined with the Resonance Binding from the Pulse of the Earth 201.

After over eight hundred years in a divine temple (only eight years externally), Qin Zhao returned to find his senior brother, Universe Venerable You Hou, astonished by his progress. You Hou noted that Qin Zhao had solved 5,109 Star Luo Chess games, indicating deep comprehension of the fusion law. Qin Zhao then decided to return to Chaos City to digest his gains and prepare for his breakthrough to World Lord. He also planned to challenge the Domain Lord-level Heavenly Mountain before making that breakthrough 211.

Qin Zhao later served as a Supervisory Special Envoy in the Noah Universe Kingdom. During his Highest Point Task, he investigated the embezzlement of Rong Yu and a broader smuggling chain involving Chihuo Marquis, Yanzhu King’s faction, and the Wulong Star Domain 151 156. Yan Wu entrusted him with evidence documenting more than 30 million Hunyuan Units in smuggling over 18,000 years 156. Qin Zhao completed the first phase at 90%, then completed the overall task after judging Liu Yuan despite Liu Yuan being regarded as a fellow countryman. He received 6.75 million points, including a 90% bonus 175 180.

Later, having earned the name Prison Suppression King after successfully defending against a Universe Venerable in the Outer Domain Battlefield, Qin Zhao sought permission from his teacher to return to Chaos City for long-term secluded cultivation. His teacher approved without hesitation, and Qin Zhao's true body traveled through the Dark Universe for three years to reach Chaos City, where he intended to consolidate his Soul Mutation results and convert his wealth into personal strength 293.

After breaking through to Immortal, Qin Zhao returned to Chaos City and visited Darkness Master, King Zhenyan, and King Lanchen. He then built a palace on Thunder Island's mountainside with Chaos City Lord's implicit support, provoking criticism from some Universe Venerables who considered an Immortal unqualified for the location 350 352. The promotion was nevertheless approved, in part because of his earlier survival in the Eighteenth Star Domain Prison's Second District 353. His later battle footage, showing him kill three high-level and one mid-level Universe Venerable, silenced these objections and caused numerous Venerables to apologize or seek friendship 382 383.

Apprenticeship

Qin Zhao formally became the disciple of Darkness Master in a meeting arranged by Chaos City Lord. Darkness Master exuded an oppressive and evil aura that dimmed the surrounding time and space, but Qin Zhao remained composed. Accepting Darkness Master as his teacher, Qin Zhao understood the weight of the opportunity and the high expectations placed upon him 198 199. Chaos City Lord advised him to continue cultivating the Hun Tian Earth-Space Mirror and to make progress in the Law of Earth-Space Fusion within three hundred years 199.

Darkness Master set a high goal for his new disciple, granting him the Yan Kong Divine General inheritance as a path to mastering the fusion law. He also arranged for his senior disciple, Lord You Hou—a high-level Universe Venerable—to escort Qin Zhao to the Nine Star Sea, where the inheritance was located in a secret realm controlled by the Giant Axe Coliseum 200 204. Before departing, Qin Zhao reflected on his progress, adjusted his mental state, and sent a request to Darkness Master to begin the inheritance. Lord You Hou met him with respect and guided him onward 204. Throughout his apprenticeship, Qin Zhao demonstrated humility and dedication, acknowledging that his achievements required continued effort and preparation under the mentorship of Darkness Master and the support of senior brothers like You Hou 211.

Sitting Mountain Guest subsequently became a secret and highly consequential mentor. After Qin Zhao successfully possessed a Bloodspawn, Sitting Mountain Guest planned his future around the Nine Calamities Manual, intending to grant the second calamity after Qin Zhao reached Immortality and direct him toward later manuals after his genetic transformation 310. Sitting Mountain Guest also supported Qin Zhao in negotiations with the Starry Sky Behemoth Progenitor and later collected a wagered Supreme Treasure set for him from the Ancestor 414 417.

Immortal Era and Border Garrison

Qin Zhao's breakthrough to Immortal triggered two descents of the Origin Law and drew the personal arrival of Chaos City Lord, who acknowledged his progress without probing the secrets of his Bloodspawn Clone, independent soul cores, or two God Kingdoms 347 348. His teachers each expressed pride but warned him that greater strength also brought greater danger 350.

He was approved to attend the Supreme Meeting at the Mountain of the Gods, where many Universe Venerables initially treated him with indifference or contempt because he remained only an Immortal 362 363. Gui Yi Venerable and Golden Axe Venerable offered visible support. Qin Zhao remained calm, recognizing that battle records rather than argument would settle the matter 363.

To establish a proper reputation, Qin Zhao volunteered for a border garrison assignment in the inter-racial war 367. Before approving the request, Chaos City Lord personally tested him. Qin Zhao's full eruption proved capable of threatening high-level Universe Venerables, convincing Chaos City Lord that he could survive the assignment 368 369. At the frontier, Qin Zhao fought four Universe Venerables, killing three high-level Venerables and one mid-level Venerable while exposing Willpower Might, Return to Void, Black Stone Prison's seal-suppression power, and the Bloodspawn Clone's Time-Space Disorder 382 383.

Mystic Pattern Diagram School and Beast God Armor

After tens of millions of years of accumulation, Qin Zhao challenged the Ancestor to measure the gap between himself and a universe's strongest being. He used a secret art combining the powers of all eight Beast Gods; the Ancestor assessed the technique as reaching the level of a universe's strongest being and offered guidance on the greater road ahead 414.

Sitting Mountain Guest won a massive Supreme Treasure set for Qin Zhao through a prior wager with the Ancestor. The set contained 526 Supreme Treasures and became known as the Beast God Armor 414 415. With the armor, Time-Space Disorder, the Mystic Pattern Diagram School, and the Universe Master Strongest Secret Art Hongmeng, Qin Zhao attains the ability to contend against a third-tier Universe Master 415.

Qin Zhao later joins the Starry Sky Giant Beast Alliance under the Ravine Behemoth identity. The Starry Sky Behemoth Progenitor offers him the Alliance's complete inheritance, future personal instruction, and the top-tier close-combat weapon Space Cleaver; Sitting Mountain Guest intervenes to secure improved terms and the associated Alliance materials 417.
