Background

Bloodspawn was discovered gestating within a blood-colored light mass above a nine-tiered altar in the Sinking Dream Abyss. Its original body was a blood-red, humanoid special lifeform with six arms, three eyes, fine scales, and a tail. Sitting Mountain Guest had arranged the opportunity for Qin Zhao, whose soul fragment merged with Bloodspawn's developing soul imprint rather than directly overwriting it. 306 308 309

The resulting Bloodspawn Clone shares Qin Zhao's soul origin and consciousness link, but possesses an independent soul core and life imprint. Its death would therefore not simply return its consciousness to Qin Zhao's true body. 346
