Nor had it convened a related debriefing for active-duty hunters.
Rumor had it that, despite securing a strategic victory, the Hunter Corps leadership had remained inactive because they had clashed with the Church's upper ranks over how to handle the Apocalypse—a momentous Divine Artifact tied to the world's survival. The two sides had argued without end, leaving no time to carry out the usual administrative procedures.
However, whatever the truth behind it might have been, with the active hunters' brief vacation now over, the Hunter Corps finally convened its first postwar debriefing.
Moreover, this meeting included every member across Hunter's Peak. Clearly, they intended for all Hunter Corps affairs to return to normal today.
And so, following the official collective notice, the hunters returned to the mountaintop one after another.
Since the meeting encompassed the entire Auling Hunter Corps, members of different ranks would attend it in various locations across Hunter's Peak through face-to-face discussions, video projections, broadcast notices, and a series of other formats.
The teachers and administrators of Hunter Academy gathered the students in the academy's assembly hall.
Support personnel from every field of the Hunter Corps assembled in their respective administrative office buildings.
New hunters, veteran hunters, and Elite Hunters gathered at administrative venues such as Hunter Plaza and the mission guild.
Meanwhile, the upper ranks of every Hunter Corps department, together with all active-duty Master Hunters who had participated in the Butcher-Clown Extermination Battle, assembled in the ancient Decision Tower atop Hunter's Peak.
This was the Hunter Corps' core meeting venue.
