Background / History

Mu Ye is the current Sect Master of the declining Body Sect. Though its name had become obscure, he remained determined to restore its standing by finding worthy successors and publicly demonstrating its strength. He regarded Lin Jin as the disciple capable of making the Body Sect known again. 49 76

Before taking Lin Jin as a disciple, Mu Ye investigated him and became interested in the Blood Lotus imprint within his body and his heart mutation, both of which suited the Body Sect's cultivation path. 40

Mu Ye formally accepted Lin Jin after explaining his identity and the benefits of joining the Body Sect. He began investing heavily in Lin Jin's growth, providing rare cultivation resources, a hundred-thousand-year Evil Orca Right Leg Bone, and harsh physical training at sea. 49 50 51 57
