Shiranami Chihiro leaned back into his arms, chatting about everything from amusing moments on the boat to her struggles picking out souvenirs. She said whatever came to mind.
Whenever she felt she was getting too caught up in trivial details, she would pause and look at him.
Kitagawa Kai always managed to ask a follow-up question or two, prompting her to carry on enthusiastically.
After they had chatted for quite a while, Shiranami Chihiro straightened up a little. Her pretty face flushed as she asked with concern, "Kai-kun... I've been sitting in your lap for so long. Are your legs going numb?"
Kitagawa Kai held her securely and smiled. "Of course not. Don't worry about it at all. You're practically weightless. Even if there were a few more Chihiro-chans, I could hold you all without any trouble."
With his physique far beyond that of an ordinary person, a little weight like this naturally couldn't make his legs go numb.
