Under the direction of Fang Bie, Tony and Yinsen swung their swords at almost the exact same time. As the door swung open, the slow-moving Zombie inside was just preparing to come out and bite someone, only to be held firmly in place by the two blades!
Fang Bie drew his own Stone Sword at this moment. Looking at the flushed faces of the two men beside him, he realized the strength of this Zombie was likely far beyond the ordinary.
Just like humans, Zombies have 10 hearts, totaling 20 health points. A standard Stone Sword deals 5 damage, so as long as the Zombie isn't wearing armor, it can be taken down in four hits.
Fang Bie remembered this information very clearly. He suddenly leaped into the air and brought his sword down onto the Zombie's head.
This is a unique combat technique in the MC game, commonly known as a Jump Attack. Theoretically, it utilizes the force of your jump to deal damage to monsters, allowing for extremely high burst damage.
With Fang Bie's strike, the monster—which had possessed immense strength and made it difficult for the two men at the door to hold their ground—suddenly dissipated before them.
Tony and Yinsen lunged forward, but their longswords provided excellent support, preventing them from actually falling over.
In front of them, another monster, whose appearance was slightly more normal than the previous Zombie, walked out from inside and was caught perfectly between the two swords.
It was precisely because Fang Bie had anticipated this situation that he had them act this way. He raised his longsword again and struck down fiercely!
Tony Stark and Yinsen were both among the most brilliant minds in their world; how could they be stumped by such a thing?
They had been shocked by the sudden turn of events and hadn't thought of this strategy at first, but under Fang Bie's calm guidance, they reacted very quickly.
Both were grown men, and while the strength they possessed wasn't particularly immense, it was more than enough to hold back a Zombie that was stuck in the doorway.
"Careful, there are two more Zombies behind him. Make sure you don't get attacked by them!" Fang Bie warned cautiously.
"Of course!" Tony had regained his composure and even waved at him quite dashingly.
As a top genius with an IQ of over 200, he naturally possessed a side that others could never surpass. Holding the monster back firmly with one hand, he casually took a block from his own inventory and gently wedged it against the side of the door.
Yinsen, on the other side, learned quite well. The two of them simultaneously took out a piece of Cobblestone and used it to gently wedge their longswords against the door frame.
Just as the fallen Zombie vanished from the doorway, another Zombie rushed out from inside, bumping right into the blades of the swords. Not only was a portion of its health depleted, but it was also unable to move.
Fang Bie casually finished off the monster with two strikes. It was only when the next monster was about to reach the door that he finally realized what these two had actually done.
Fang Bie thought with some surprise that he had been limited by game logic. In the game, he never had a body as familiar and exceptionally convenient as the one he had now; instead, he had been dealing with these monsters using the rules of the game just as he always had.
But everything he saw now belonged to reality. Even if this world was generated entirely based on game rules, they were humans who were no different from those in reality and should not be affected by such limitations.
He should have thought of this method himself.
Fang Bie looked at Tony with great approval. He was worthy of being Iron Man, able to remain calm in such a tense moment.
He handed his own sword to the other man. "There are two Zombies left. You each kill one so you can experience what it's like to fight these monsters!"
Fang Bie's combat experience could never be compared to others; he actually possessed rules and strength entirely different from an ordinary person.
He held the highest authority in this world. Even though there was still a risk of death, his combat power was still higher than the two people present.
Furthermore, if these two wanted to stay here for a long time, fighting monsters would become an unavoidable threshold. Fang Bie needed to cultivate their fighting spirit at this moment, or at least give them the courage to kill a Zombie with their own hands!
"You want us to kill this monster?" Tony asked with a strange expression.
"Yes!" Fang Bie nodded. "You will have to face these monsters sooner or later, so you might as well start learning how to hack them to death now!"
"Alright!" Tony nodded firmly, gripping his sword as if he were going to his death.
Fang Bie felt a headache coming on. I just asked you to kill a monster, not to go on a suicide mission. Why that expression?
However, Tony's performance was quite good. He possessed extremely high combat talent; one must remember that in the original story, he was able to control the Iron Man armor with great maturity just after coming into contact with it. Even with the help of an intelligent system, his powerful talent could not be ruled out.
He swung his sword twice in succession, and under the watchful eyes of Fang Bie and Yinsen, he hacked the Zombie into dust, leaving behind pieces of Rotten Flesh on the ground.
Fang Bie didn't rush to explain to them why these things appeared. Instead, he pointed to the last Zombie rushing forward, which had also wedged itself between the two swords, making it a perfect target.
Yinsen had lived through war-torn years since he was a child, so he clearly had some skills. After taking the sword, he didn't hesitate at all. His movements were even swifter and more fierce than Tony's, and he quickly swung twice, hacking the Zombie to the ground as well.
Fang Bie carefully took out a Torch and inserted it into the room. Only after confirming there were no more Zombies inside did he slowly let out a sigh of relief.
"This was my carelessness; I didn't tell you about this," Fang Bie began by criticizing himself. "Next time, remember that if a spacious room is too far away and lacks any bright light sources, these monsters will spawn. They could pose a fatal threat to you, so be very careful!"
"OK, OK!" The two nodded repeatedly. It seemed they had taken his words to heart; after all, this was a matter concerning their own lives, so it was impossible for them to forget.
"Alright! As people who have just arrived in this world, you did well—even better than beginners. Let's go in first. It's getting dark, and we still have a lot to do!" Fang Bie said, walking into the room first. He scanned the surroundings once more, and only after confirming there were no monsters did he slowly relax.
"Let's light the lamps first. This night... might be a very long one!" Fang Bie looked at the two visitors from another world and, for some reason, smiled to himself. "I wonder, is meeting them my good fortune, or my misfortune?"
