Fang Bie was no longer the bold player he had been in the game; having personally released the torrent of water that wiped out almost everyone in the cave, he could not easily shake off the deep nightmare he had just entered.
This was his first time killing, and although he hadn't done it with his own hands, he had personally buried these people.
He followed closely behind the two big shots, watching as they mercilessly pulled their triggers on the soldiers lying on the ground who appeared to be dead.
However, just as Fang Bie had done in his own world, the two men mentioned the necessity of finishing off these bandit soldiers; even if they were all victims of a civilized world, these thugs who disrupted global security could not escape the fate of being executed.
After suppressing the discomfort in his heart, Fang Bie followed the two men ahead and fired a few extra shots into the bodies lying on the ground.
After the three of them walked out of the cave, Fang Bie took stone blocks from his inventory and simply sealed the cave entrance.
"Aren't you worried about what will happen when we come back later, with so many people dead inside?" Tony asked him with some curiosity.
Fang Bie shook his head and took a bucket of lava from his inventory—this was lava he had found in the wild and kept on his person just in case.
"Before I leave, I will pour this bucket of lava into the place where I released the water. Everything inside will be swallowed by the lava; no one will know what happened, and no one will be able to uncover any secrets from it."
Fang Bie knew very well how terrifying the power in this world was; there was no guarantee that someone couldn't find the true cause of this scene's destruction through the lens of death, slaughter, or even the soul.
He could only try his best to destroy the evidence. Once all proof of these people's existence was erased, anyone wanting to know their true origins would have to ask the current Sorcerer Supreme or head to hell to ask Mephisto, if he even existed in this universe.
"Fair enough. Aside from us, it's best if your origins remain unknown to anyone else in this world," Tony advised earnestly.
He was in contact with the most official and authoritative group of people in this world, and he knew deeply what kind of things he would be unwilling to accept if the military learned of Fang Bie's abilities.
The big guy who rampaged through New York two years ago didn't have a great ending, and that was just one of the disasters caused by the military. The evils hidden in the shadows, existing only in official files, were far more numerous than anyone imagined.
Under the two men's grave warnings, Fang Bie nodded solemnly. He understood this clearly, which was why he had to do things thoroughly.
When they reached the valley, they discovered some bandits who had fled in a hurry or were already outside the mountain; under the washing of the flood, these people still could not escape their fated destruction.
"Bang!" A gunshot rang out, leaving a dent on Tony's glowing chest plate and knocking him back a distance.
Fang Bie quickly built a stone wall in front of the three of them—this was a bit of experience he had gained from being cautious. At that very moment, dense gunfire erupted; the weapons originally mounted on the hillside had become the remaining bandits' sharp tools for suppressing the three of them!
"Tony! Think of something!" Fang Bie shouted at the man beside him in a panic. Even with his years of experience, he was ultimately just an ordinary person who had never experienced war; being able to keep his mentality from collapsing was already extraordinary.
Yinsen, however, was much calmer than Fang Bie. Even though his shiny bald head was a clear target in the sunlight, he quickly took stone blocks from his inventory and calmly built a simple defensive fortification above their heads.
Although the three of them, possessing MC, had been suppressed to this point, their advantages were still immense; at worst, they could just dig a tunnel and escape, which would be no difficulty for them at all.
However, the three of them were unexpectedly unanimous in their opinion: they absolutely could not just run away and expose that door to these guys.
Although these bandits didn't understand the current situation, that didn't stop them from leaking news of this disaster. The three of them would not allow such a thing to happen; they had just discussed keeping secrets, so how could they suddenly go back on their word?
After the tide receded, the crates of ammunition that had been buried beneath the valley had already been cleared out by them.
Therefore, these remaining people had to rely on the weapons on the mountain and the guns on their bodies to provide fire suppression, but it didn't seem to have much effect, and the sound of gunfire gradually died down.
Tony had been lost in thought since the attack began. He took various types of munitions from his inventory and carefully assembled them.
In fact, it was a huge coincidence that the munitions here were basically products manufactured by his company. As the company's top scientist and chief designer, Tony was intimately familiar with these products.
It was precisely because of this that he was able to quickly gain control of these missiles through an encrypted laptop he hadn't forgotten to take.
"Fang Bie, buy me some time! I'm going to use these autonomous missiles!" Tony stared fixedly at the computer screen, his hands moving non-stop. Beads of sweat dripped down, matting his sexy little mustache into a clump.
Fang Bie forcibly suppressed his inner fear of death and carefully reached out a hand to place a block.
Sure enough, just as he placed the block, the dense gunfire rang out once again.
But this time, they were disappointed. Neither the seamless armor nor the stone wall, which looked over a meter thick, could be easily breached by the guns in these people's hands.
Yinsen wasn't idle either. He was guiding the wires of the missiles; as someone who could successfully perform cardiothoracic surgery, his fingers were steady, not shaking in the slightest.
With his help, Tony successfully cut the control line and reloaded his own program.
Fang Bie continued to shift blocks incessantly. These guys weren't close to them, and all he had to do was keep them firing, rather than letting them think about charging in at close range.
As long as he could do that, they were effectively halfway to success.
Tony's missiles couldn't be launched right next to them, so he needed to stall these people for enough time.
Fortunately, these indigenous people seemed very easy to fool; hearing the sound of gunfire meant that those people were still firing, so they wouldn't dare to approach them at close range.
Fang Bie completed his task very smoothly, and even took the time to reinforce their simple stone wall.
By this time, Tony's missile program had already been set!
