As Fang Bie entered the door, he casually took two wooden steps from a nearby chest. While the two men behind him were still struggling to climb over the meter-high threshold, he easily placed the two steps beside the house.
"Is this the legendary magic? Being able to manifest items out of thin air?" Yinsen said, looking somewhat dazed.
"It is merely a manifestation of the rules," Fang Bie said modestly. He showed off a little, then took two bowls from a chest nearby and placed them in front of the two men.
The bowls were filled with fresh water he had just drawn; it hadn't taken much effort, as he had stored a block of water in a high corner of the room.
The two men watched him as if he were manipulating invisible objects, taking out a piece of meat half his height and using a Stone Sword to carefully divide it into several pieces, stacking them before them.
"I have nothing else to treat you with, so let's just have some roasted mutton to fill your stomachs first!" Fang Bie said with a smile.
However, neither of them was actually very hungry, so they didn't pay much attention to the food he brought out, but were instead astonished by his endless array of powerful methods.
The Marvel Universe at this time was still very calm; those strange people and bizarre events that would later roam the world had not yet occurred.
Therefore, to two scientists who primarily held a materialistic worldview, his methods belonged to the realm of magic. If they hadn't already been mentally prepared by being in a fundamentally abnormal world, their worldviews would likely have been shattered by now.
But even so, the two were in a bad state, their muscles almost completely tensed like frightened birds.
"Relax, I'm not some kind of devil. Just like before, you just need to answer the questions I ask, and I won't make things difficult for you," Fang Bie comforted them.
Tony Stark was truly an elite, and he quickly adjusted from his emotional state, extending a hand.
"Hello, I'm Tony Stark, a traveler who arrived here by accident."
Fang Bie also extended a hand, "Fang Bie, a pioneer of this world."
Although he wasn't a Marvel fan, he had basically watched these sci-fi movies thoroughly, so he was quite familiar with these characters.
If he didn't make use of this now, wouldn't he be wasting his gaming skills?
Regardless of how these two people from the Marvel Universe ended up in front of him, weren't they living, breathing tools—oh no, they should be called like-minded teammates.
Yinsen watched them shake hands from the side and quickly extended a hand as well, "Yinsen, a medical doctor staying in a foreign land."
"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you both," Fang Bie said. "May I ask why you two came here?"
"We were attacked by terrorists and captured, forced to build missiles for them, and then we accidentally discovered your stone door and crossed over here," Tony said. He had already recovered his previous demeanor; although he looked a bit disheveled, he already possessed the aura of a business elite.
Fang Bie's temperament remained lazy, but his ability to pull things out of thin air kept the two sitting opposite him from harboring any ulterior motives.
"No wonder, so you are two refugees. Does this mean you are still under the threat of the enemy? Living on the edge?" Fang Bie asked. He knew all about such things, but he still had to put on a show.
"Yes! They threatened that if we couldn't build the Jericho Missile within half a month, they would kill us both," Yinsen added from the side.
"I'm afraid even if you do build it, you'll still be killed; it's only a matter of time!" Fang Bie said casually. "Since you two have nowhere to go back to, just rest here for a while. At least I won't take your lives."
Tony and Yinsen nodded. From the previous conversation, they had also discovered that this seemingly young Chinese man had no intention of harming them.
This was Fang Bie's territory. If he really wanted to harm these two, it would actually be very easy given his abilities. He only needed to ignore them, and by nightfall, the two would never survive the night filled with countless monsters.
After being tense for a while, the two gradually became hungry. Although they were provided with food in the cave, how could those terrorists possibly provide anything particularly good?
Being able to keep the two from starving to death was already the greatest mercy they could offer.
Fang Bie watched the two eat the mutton heartily and realized it was already noon, so he also took a piece of mutton from his inventory and ate it.
It must be said that eating alone and eating with others felt completely different; Fang Bie even felt that the piece of meat in his hand tasted better than the one from last night.
As for Tony and Yinsen, in this environment where there was almost no threat, they finally let go of their tense nerves and breathed a long sigh of relief.
Seeing that the two had finished eating and drank the water in their bowls, Fang Bie asked, "You walked out of that stone door outside, right?"
"That's right!" Tony nodded. Having eaten and drank his fill, he finally regained some of the bearing of a billionaire, losing his previous disheveled look. "We accidentally discovered this door and ended up here."
"Aren't you worried that those people outside will follow you in? Judging by your situation, your circumstances outside don't seem very good," Fang Bie asked curiously.
This was actually a point he was quite worried about; if a squad of soldiers really rushed in, he wouldn't fare well either.
Tony immediately pointed to the watch on his companion's wrist. Fang Bie, of course, recognized what it was, so he turned his head to look at the two, wanting to hear their explanation.
"After arriving in this world, the watch stopped moving, and another pocket watch I left outside the door also stopped moving. In other words, time in our world seems to be frozen in this world!" Tony stated his theory.
Maybe your watch is just broken, Fang Bie muttered to himself, but he suddenly received information from the void that seemed to explain the issue of time being frozen. Since there was a patch, he let it slide.
"Frozen? Is there such a thing?" Fang Bie feigned curiosity. "So, do you plan to go back?"
"Of course!" A complex expression appeared on Tony's face. "I'm going to send those sons of bitches to hell, and I'm going to tear the traitor who exposed my whereabouts into pieces!"
"Tony, we haven't even escaped yet," the bald Yinsen said. He was still observing his surroundings very cautiously. "Let's think about revenge after we escape!"
"Fair enough!" Tony's previously impassioned expression suddenly subsided; he also knew that such things could never be accomplished overnight.
Fang Bie took the opportunity to voice his thoughts, "It seems you haven't been having a good time there. Since time is frozen on that side, it shouldn't delay your revenge plan. How about staying here for a while?"
"Here with you?"
"Stay for a while?"
The two looked at each other, lost in thought. This actually... seemed like a pretty good proposal!
