Background & History

After Huo Yuhao helped Tang Ya obtain a suitable third Soul Ring, Bei Bei offered him assistance in return. When Huo Yuhao asked to enter Shrek Academy, Bei Bei and Tang Ya provided a recommendation; Tang Ya then assigned Bei Bei to teach him the Tang Sect's secret techniques. The three departed for Shrek Academy after practicing the Purple Demon Eye together 2.

Bei Bei taught Huo Yuhao the basic applications of the Tang Sect techniques and explained Shrek Academy's demanding entrance requirements. He advised Huo Yuhao on the relative prospects of the Control and Support systems, recognizing both the strength and the risks of Huo Yuhao's unusual Spirit Eye abilities 3.

During the entrance examination period, Bei Bei consistently looked after Huo Yuhao. He checked on him after Huo Yuhao failed to answer his door, fearing he had suffered a cultivation deviation, and later encouraged him after his team-battle defeat 4 8. He also arranged for Xu Sanshi to serve as Huo Yuhao's sparring partner, while he and Tang Ya analyzed Huo Yuhao's flaws in the Tang Sect techniques 8 9.

Bei Bei had already begun planning a future tournament team around himself, Xu Sanshi, and Huo Yuhao. He viewed Huo Yuhao as a valuable Support System member and sought to secure a place for Tang Ya as well, hoping strong teammates and their family connections could support the Tang Sect's revival 11 38.

When Huo Yuhao faced Dai Huabin, Bei Bei was deeply concerned by his junior brother's determination to fight rather than concede. Though Elder Xuan assured him that Huo Yuhao would be protected, Bei Bei remained ready to intervene and ultimately trusted Huo Yuhao's ability to endure 17 18.

In a later two-on-two training battle, Bei Bei and Tang Ya fought Xu Sanshi and Huo Yuhao. Bei Bei's offensive pressure nearly overwhelmed Huo Yuhao, but Huo Yuhao's Mental Interference Domain caused Bei Bei to misjudge his attack; Xu Sanshi ultimately defeated him with a full-power release of his soul skills 35 37. Afterward, Bei Bei remained committed to building a team that included Tang Ya despite her doubts about her own strength 38.

Bei Bei later joined Huo Yuhao and Xu Sanshi in operations against the Sun Moon Empire. During their infiltration of Heavenly Soul Imperial City, Huo Yuhao shared reconnaissance through Mental Sharing with Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi; Bei Bei also assisted Huo Yuhao in extracting information from Shi Xing 187 188.

Bei Bei is attentive and protective toward those he accepts as companions. He worries over Huo Yuhao's physical condition, offers practical guidance instead of empty reassurance, and chooses to trust his junior brother's judgment even when the situation appears hopeless 3 4 18.

He is also calculating and proactive. Bei Bei identifies Huo Yuhao's strategic value early, recruits Xu Sanshi as a training partner, and plans team composition around both combat roles and political support for the Tang Sect 8 11 38. His ambition to include Tang Ya in a high-level team stems from his desire to help revive her sect 11.

Despite being indifferent to public fame, Bei Bei retains a competitive fixation on being the strongest among his peers, particularly in his unresolved rivalry with Xu Sanshi 8.
