After Akaseki's Mirror Clones had been wiped out, the six who planned to enter the next level finally went in themselves-and, just like the Mirror Clones before them, entered the Lava Dimension directly.
According to Miroku's calculations, anyone entering before one o'clock would arrive in this fire-aspect space represented by the Li Trigram.
As soon as they entered, they felt the intense heat around them, baking them uncomfortably. Lava churned across most of the ground, too. They had to protect their feet with chakra and stick to relatively cool patches just to walk.
Fortunately, the flame puppets bound to the Lava Dimension were already gone, so the six merely passed through...
But entering the next space brought no relief!
The next level was the Acid Space, where protecting their soles was even more important. Simply breathing irritated their nasal passages.
Fortunately, the acid pools scattered everywhere only bubbled occasionally now...
If acid monsters had emerged as they had earlier, the six would probably have been scrambling-after all, Akaseki's Mirror Clones had needed to protect no one, only coordinate with one another. Now that the six had come here themselves, both Miroku and Yomi looked like they needed protection.
Fortunately, it was only the surroundings that made them uncomfortable now, and that was easy enough to overcome. The group soon reached the entrance to the next level.
Akaseki's Mirror Clones had probably been destroyed one after another just after passing through here.
Of course, Mirror Clones did not send memories back, and the separation between spaces prevented Shared Vision. Akaseki could only infer that they had encountered some special attack mechanism immediately upon entry, based on how all his Mirror Clones had been destroyed within a short time without splitting, and how long it had taken them to perish after leaving.
