On a beautiful resort island, broken limbs and debris lay scattered almost everywhere, adding a sense of decay to what was once a pristine paradise.

Thirteen stood there, suitcase in hand, waiting for the helicopter that was supposed to pick him up.

"Is this what you wanted, Judas?" A young voice sounded behind him.

Thirteen turned around. A handsome young man who seemed to be bathed in light appeared behind him.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Thirteen said.

"You can't fool me, Judas. I know everything," the youth said. If any other heroes had witnessed this scene, they would have been shocked, because this handsome young man was none other than one of the ten strongest guardians of human civilization, a man born with the destiny to save the world—the 'Son of God.' One of only ten SS-Class beings in the world.

"I'm just here on vacation. And don't call me Judas. My name is Thirteen," Thirteen replied.

"Why did the Sea Tribe know their princess would be auctioned off on this island? Others might not know, but I do. You did it. Leaking secrets has always been your specialty, hasn't it?"

"Say what you want," Thirteen answered. "I doubt you'd believe me if I said it was a coincidence."

"God has already arranged everything," the Son of God said. "Is this what you wanted? This battle caused nearly three thousand casualties on Paradise Island, all for the sake of an abandoned little girl."

"A garbage dump running slave trades on the surface and live experiments deeper down?" Thirteen sneered. "Trading the destruction of a place like this for a pure little girl's future—I'd say that's a fair deal."

"Do you know why we never touched this place before?" the Son of God asked.

"I'm not interested."

"Because it provided a wealth of intelligence on the dark forces," the Son of God said.

"And for that, you let the evil here repeat itself over and over?" Thirteen said.

"God has already arranged their sacrifice, so that we can move toward a better future," the Son of God said.

"Your God didn't arrange me," Thirteen said.

"Judas!"

"I told you, don't call me that name. My name is Thirteen. And I don't believe in your God," Thirteen said, his usually gentle expression turning icy cold. "Because I've never considered myself a sinner."

"You've always been a sinner, Judas. From the day you were born, you were destined to be a sinner," the Son of God said.

"What an unjust God," Thirteen said. "But speaking of which, wasn't your God supposed to have you lead humanity to rebuild civilization after Judgment Day? Looks like Judgment Day got taken care of by 'Zero' instead. So even God can miscalculate, huh? And that means your mission ended before it even began, right? You might as well go back to your God's embrace."

"Judas! As long as I'm still alive, my mission is not over! And I'll be watching you, Judas! You may not be strong, but I don't want a repeat of what happened on Paradise Island." With that, the Son of God vanished into a flash of light.

Watching the Son of God leave, Thirteen's cold expression melted back into a warm smile.

On the top floor of Xiao's Building, several dozen people were holding a celebration party.

"Why isn't Thirteen back yet?" Xiao Zhan asked.

"I just called. Apparently, the third helicopter he was on crashed again. He's stranded on a small island with the third pilot, waiting for rescue," Lin Jie said.

"Then we won't wait for him," Xiao Zhan said, taking a remote control from Shadow, who was standing beside him in a maid outfit.

"Let's get hyped, bros!" Xiao Zhan shouted as he pressed a button, and explosive music blasted through the banquet hall.

"Brother Yatan, you're here?" Black Gold and White Gold walked over to Yatan, only to notice a man standing beside him.

"Isn't that the guy from Evolution Company called Weapon?" White Gold said in surprise.

"Speaking of which, I fought him for hours in the Peach Grove that day. We both admired each other's abilities, but in the end, he gave in to me. From now on, he's one of us," Yatan said.

"Oh? So that's what happened? Then our team just got stronger, didn't it?" Black Gold said excitedly.

Their words left people stunned.

"Hey, aren't you worried about scandals, recruiting a bunch of muscle-bound guys like that?" Lin Jie said to Dong Xue'er, who was sipping red wine, as he opened a bottle of soda.

"What do I have to fear? The Gay Alliance is H City's famous gay alliance," Dong Xue'er said with a smile.

"Huh?" Lin Jie froze, then fell into thought.

"What are you thinking about?" Dong Xue'er asked.

"I went to eat Roasted Mandarin Ducks with them a couple of days ago," Lin Jie said. "I think I drank quite a bit. I'm trying to remember if we did anything weird back then. Damn it!! I can't remember anything!"

Lin Jie rubbed his head and started chugging soda.

"Speaking of which, that missing Evolution Company guy still hasn't been found?" Dong Xue'er said.

"Don't worry," White Gold said from the side. "My brothers already have a lead. That guy should be caught by tomorrow morning at the latest."

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of H City, Mr. Gan was trembling as a group of muscle-bound men wielding golden shields and spears surrounded him.

"Accept the judgment of justice," one muscle man said.

"Wait! I surrender! I'm not a combatant! I demand preferential treatment! I want a lawyer! Wait... what are you doing? Ah! No! District C is terrifying!!"

Mr. Gan's wails echoed across the outskirts.

"Accept our reformation properly! Maybe we'll consider letting you join our alliance."

At the party, someone accidentally bumped into Glasses, and his glasses fell to the floor. The already cracked lenses deepened with new fractures.

"Sage Glasses! Are you okay?" Glasses said mournfully.

'Future Glasses King, my mission is nearing its end.'

"No! Hang in there! I'll find a way to fix you!" Glasses said sorrowfully.

"I was already done for after your last fight."

"Don't say that."

"Listen to me, future Glasses King. I don't have much time left, but your path must continue. Also, before I die, I want you to pass a message to the Lady Glasses from Rack 20, Shelf 3, Position 3 at the glasses shop... tell her..."

But before he could finish, Lin Jie ran past and stepped right on that pair of glasses.

Then the glasses went completely silent.

"Sorry! Too much soda, gotta rush to the bathroom! Don't you have plenty of backup glasses?" Lin Jie said as he dashed toward the restroom.

"Ahhh! My Sage Glasses!" Glasses' mournful sobs clashed awkwardly with the cheerful atmosphere.

"A grown man crying over a pair of glasses, aren't you ashamed?" Dong Xiaoye walked over carrying two trays, setting one in front of Glasses. "Here, have some Grilled Mandarin Duck. It's pretty good."

"What do you know? The bond I had with those glasses is something you could never understand." Glasses took the tray, then glanced at his other hand wrapped in bandages.

"Almost forgot, you can't hold a fork with that hand. Here, say ahh..." Dong Xiaoye picked up a piece of cut duck meat with her fork and brought it toward Glasses' mouth.

"Ara ara, looks like I'm seeing something I shouldn't." Dong Xue'er suddenly appeared behind Dong Xiaoye, startling her so much that she dropped the fork right onto Glasses' face.

"Th-there's nothing going on between us!! I just felt sorry for him not being able to eat, that's all... like feeding a stray dog! Yeah, that's right, feeding a stray dog!" Dong Xiaoye stammered.

"Huh? I don't think I said anything yet." Dong Xue'er said with a smile.

"You bastard!"

"Sister Lin, what are they doing?" The Little Girl nearby pointed at Glasses and Dong Xiaoye.

"You'll know when you're older." Lin Wan said, wiping the cream off the Little Girl's mouth.
