Background / History

Horikita is introduced as a cold-faced girl with long black hair whom Tsukishima notices on the bus to Kodo Ikusei Senior High School. He later learns that the student council president, Horikita Manabu, is her brother. 1 2

Early in the school term, she proposes that Class D purchase intelligence on the school’s point system for 500,000 points. Her classmates reject the proposal, but the information is eventually acquired through Kushida for 200,000 points. 5 8

Her strained relationship with Manabu becomes public to Tsukishima and Ayanokouji when they witness an argument between the siblings.
