"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Nagumo Miyabi, Vice President of the Student Council."
"Vice President of the Student Council? What brings you to the first-year area?"
Ryuuen Sho gritted his teeth viciously, utterly unable to fathom why this yellow-haired bastard had shown up here.
"Heh, naturally, it's because of the so-called 'school bullying' that's occurred here."
"You got any evidence, you bastard?"
Ryuuen Sho flashed a contemptuous smirk. Talk required proof, and as everyone knew, there were no surveillance cameras in the restroom. Ryuuen Sho had already memorized the distribution of all cameras and their blind spots on campus since the start of the semester.
Kaneda Satoru calmly loosened his tie and tossed a miniature camera toward Nagumo Miyabi.
"Now there is."
Star Color had given Kaneda Satoru a miniature camera to hide inside his tie, allowing him to record Ryuuen Sho's atrocities.
"Damn it!"
"What? Thinking of laying a hand on me, the Vice President of the Student Council?"
Nagumo Miyabi felt Ryuuen Sho's killing intent but still wore a refined and gentle smile. If one ignored the context, they might mistake Nagumo Miyabi for some kind of courteous gentleman.
Nagumo Miyabi simply clapped his hands, and over twenty people outside blocked the doorway.
"Surprised? Well, well, if that guy hadn't told me not to blow things out of proportion, you'd probably be in danger right now. A freshman... and besides, you can't beat me."
(Nagumo Miyabi is on par with Manabu Horikita; his combat ability won't be far off, likely only weaker than Horikita's.)
Nagumo Miyabi spoke the harshest words in the gentlest tone.
"And you over there... you're Kaneda Satoru, right?"
Kaneda Satoru nodded.
"It's an honor to meet you, Vice President Nagumo."
"This kid's under my protection. If you cause him trouble, it'll be quite a headache for me."
The tables had turned. Now Ryuuen Sho was the one backed into a corner. He hadn't expected that in such a short time, Kaneda Satoru had managed to climb the Student Council's branches.
"Now that we have evidence, freshman... you'll have to make amends for bullying others, won't you? Otherwise, letting others take your beatings for nothing just isn't fair."
Nagumo Miyabi waved his hand, and five or six people immediately got the hint, pinning Ryuuen Sho down.
"Kaneda Satoru, however he bullied you, hit him back the same way. Rest assured, you're under my protection now."
This time, it was Kaneda Satoru looking down at Ryuuen Sho from above. He could feel the venom and resentment in Ryuuen Sho's eyes.
He threw a punch...
Kaneda Satoru only struck once before pulling back.
"What? Not going for a few more? Or how about you tell me in detail what this guy did to you, and I'll help him recall his own actions? You're the victim here—even on the 'network,' everyone would support you doing this."
Kaneda Satoru simply shook his head and said one thing.
"No need."
He recalled what Star Color had said.
[The more justified violence becomes, the more correct violence turns into supreme pleasure.]
[So you must avoid becoming that kind of person...]
[Krishnamurti once said, 'The fact is that man is violent. Because we harbor the ideal of non-violence, there is a contradiction between fact and idea. Since we don't know how to deal with violence, we generate the idea of non-violence.']
[Since we are human, don't be ashamed of generating non-violent ideas within yourself—rather, take pride in it.]
"How interesting. Alright, I'll pretend I saw nothing this time."
"Freshmen, don't let me catch you bullying your classmates again."
Nagumo Miyabi waved his hand, and Kaneda Satoru walked straight out without looking back, leaving only a disheveled Ryuuen Sho behind. Albert and Daichi Ishizaki helped Ryuuen Sho to his feet.
Ryuuen Sho glared venomously in the direction Nagumo Miyabi had left.
"Nagumo Miyabi... you bastard, just you wait. Once I crush you, that annoying fly, I'll deal with Kaneda Satoru!"
(On the other side)
The board game club had opened for business, and the three of them were happily playing UNO.
Guess how many times Star Color had lost in a row? Five.
"Aaaah! Let's play something else!"
From the board game club's activity room, Star Color's wails and sighs rang out from time to time—a truly peaceful scene.
