"Alright." Balgon nodded, but unlike before, he did not immediately speak.
Instead, he looked at Octopus Lady with a faintly amused smile, as though waiting for something.
She paused slightly, then immediately understood, saying helplessly:
"Can't we discuss the price after you're done?"
"Small business, Madam. Please understand." Balgon replied with a smile. "If you change your mind at the last moment, I'll lose everything."
"You have the ability to hurt me, yet you're afraid I'll skip out on payment?" As Octopus Lady spoke, one of her tentacles reached toward the storage device beneath her.
"Balgon is merely an ordinary low-ranking demon, nothing more than a common Goblin. How could I possibly possess the strength to contend with a Domain Overlord?" Balgon said with a serious expression. "It would be better to pay with one hand and deliver with the other, abiding by the rules of trade."
