"Uh..." Aura hesitated.
A few seconds later, he replied rather uncertainly:
"Better not... I'm afraid my status makes it inappropriate."
"As for you, you're originally a retainer under Prince Sargeras. You should be the one to go in and take a look, shouldn't you?"
"Alright!" Kil'jaeden answered unusually quickly this time, as though he had been waiting for Aura to say that.
Before his words had even settled, he had already lifted his leg and strode toward the entrance to the ruins.
At the same time, he did not forget to turn back and instruct him:
"You stand guard outside. I'll go in and take a look."
"Keep an eye on the Data Panel. Contact me immediately if anything happens."
"Uh... no problem." Aura nodded, watching Kil'jaeden's figure disappear into the entrance of the ruins.
Then, he looked around and released his mental tendrils, carefully probing the area.
After confirming that there were no potential threats nearby, he waited where he was, full of doubt.
The surroundings were quiet. Only the occasional gust of wind rustled the leaves in the forest.
Time ticked away second by second, slowly wearing down Aura's patience.
Because the Demon Domain had no distinction between day and night, the passage of time could only be judged by the biological clocks of its native creatures.
Having lost any point of reference, Aura had no idea how much time had passed.
He only knew that he had gone from standing with his arms folded, to pacing back and forth in growing irritation, and finally to sitting cross-legged on the ground.
Now, he was getting a little sleepy.
He could not remember how many times he had checked the Data Panel, sending inquiry after inquiry.
The replies he received were always identical: "We're still going deeper. There are
