The woman's face was blank, her eyes filled with confusion.
Everyone waited for a long while before she finally spoke hesitantly:
"I... I don't know either..."
"But this child must be related to me. I have to protect him!"
Florence raised her brows, deep wrinkles bunching across her forehead, revealing the weight of passing years.
Switching to an even gentler tone, she slowly said:
"If you can tell us who you are, I think we should be able to help you protect this child together."
Sensing the goodwill emanating from the elderly Spirit Clan woman, the woman gradually lowered her guard.
It seemed she believed Florence's words.
However, Arthur and the others waited for quite some time, yet still did not receive the information they wanted.
All they got was the woman's agonized response:
"I forgot..."
"Forgot?" Florence suppressed her surprise and continued to comfort her softly.

"Think slowly. Tell us whatever you can remember. Perhaps we can help you recall the rest."
"Rest assured, the Spirit Clan is widely recognized as a neutral race in the universe. We rarely make enemies of other races."
"I know you are the Spirit Clan..." The woman's thoughts drifted as though she were trying desperately to remember. "But aside from that, it feels like I can't remember anything else..."
"You didn't forget your own name too, did you?" Sun Ying blinked in astonishment.
"I... I think I really did forget..." After hesitating for a moment, the woman shook her head.
Arthur sucked in a breath and turned to Sun Ying.
"You said earlier that you picked her up in the Extreme Domain?"
"Was she alone at the time?"
"Yeah, she was alone." Sun Ying nodded in confirmation. "She was holding the child in her arms, and her
