Ragnar's words were like a match flaring to life, spinning through the air before falling into a barrel full of gasoline.
Yet not everyone's emotions were ignited.
Only Joanna's.

Joanna stepped forward half a pace. Ignoring the disparity in size and strength between herself and Ragnar, she raised her chin and demanded fiercely, "We have no grievance with you, so why are you slandering us out of nowhere?"
