A panicked scream echoed through the dark space.

Just as Evelina felt she was about to fall to her death, her body suddenly tightened.

It was as though layer upon layer of sticky, slick flesh membranes had crashed into her head-on. As they wrapped around her body, they rapidly slowed her descent.

Before long, she landed steadily, completely unharmed.

Yet the surroundings remained utterly dark, without a trace of light.

The strange sounds that occasionally emerged from the corners sent chills down the newly ascended succubus's spine.

"Lu Li? Lu Li, where are you..."

Evelina struggled to climb up from the ground, trying to determine where she was by feeling around.

But as she continued groping about, she suddenly felt as if she had touched something soft and squishy.

It felt like flesh, but seemed far softer than flesh.

"Is that you, Lu Li?"

Evelina asked tremblingly.

Still, no one answered.

Instead, those inexplicable strange noises grew louder, making her scalp prickle.

Just as Evelina was about to widen her search and see exactly what she had touched, a heavy thud suddenly sounded behind her!

The woman hurriedly turned around, only to see a pair of faint green eyes light up in the darkness!

A monster?!

Evelina's face drained of color.

But before she could scream, gentle blue-white fluorescent light dispersed the darkness around them.

Lu Li held several freshly snapped glow sticks, staring speechlessly at the succubus before him.

"What are you doing?"

The woman was delighted at first.

Then she suddenly remembered that the young man had pushed her down, and anger immediately surged within her.

"You bastard, why did you push me just now?!"
