Background

Lu Li was raised in an orphanage and attended Yongcheng No.1 High School. Before the apocalypse, his teacher He Peiqin publicly humiliated him for giving her a paper carnation he had made with saved breakfast money, an incident he later remembers when confronting her 22 335.

In his previous life, Lu Li survived the apocalypse through constant scheming and combat. He eventually learned the true value of his apparently rankless Talent Ability, Soul Devour, but suffered betrayals and losses at the hands of powerful factions. After consuming the Mythic-quality Regret Pill, he returns to the beginning of the apocalypse with his memories intact 1 1608.

He quickly identifies the Zhao Family, the Mad Blade Chen Family, and the Heaven Grade Lu Family as future enemies. Although Lu Canglong is revealed to be his grandfather, Lu Li openly states that he intends to destroy the Lu Family someday 41 128 557.

He is ruthless toward traitors and enemies, especially those connected to his past grievances. He can order executions, exploit opponents' weaknesses, and use intimidation without hesitation when he believes it protects his people or advances a necessary plan 31 55 87.

Despite this, Lu Li repays aid, protects those he accepts as his own, and distributes valuable resources generously. He refuses a disproportionate share of mana crystals early in the apocalypse, gives Xu Xiao a talent-advancing item in repayment for saving him, and later divides powerful rewards among allies because they need them more 7 15 291.
