Scholar is one of the professions available through Li Wen's panel. He chooses it immediately because, from his memories of the game, he considers its late-game potential exceptional—particularly its passive skill, Once Proven, Forever Proven. 2

The profession gains experience through learning, understanding, and mastering knowledge. Early on, effective study yields one experience point per ten minutes; Absolute Focus does not accelerate this base rate, so Li Wen compensates by committing more study time. 3 8

Academic examinations provide much larger experience rewards than ordinary study.
