What if Absolute Boundary really had to farm?
If Absolute Boundary failed to grow anything, wouldn't he be thrown into a prison cart, pelted with rotten eggs and spoiled vegetables, then publicly executed at the Meridian Gate?
Ahem, the last part was probably impossible, of course, but he likely wouldn't escape some physical suffering.
Fu Zeyu had been sweating anxiously, but then he remembered that he was an A-rank Contract Anomalist. Among the Contract Anomalists present, he was the lowest-ranked one.
And this was merely ancient times. No matter how many soldiers there were, even if they truly rushed them all at once, their weapons could not harm them at all.
No matter how useless Absolute Boundary was, he was still an SS-rank Contract Anomalist. Even without any offensive abilities, a body tempered by anomalous energy alone would be enough to make him impervious to blades and spears.
So these people posed no threat to them whatsoever.
Fu Zeyu breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Absolute Boundary.
Perhaps the other man thought the same way. Was that why he dared to boast so recklessly?
The soldier was overjoyed. "You really know how to farm? That's wonderful! We're severely lacking people who are skilled at managing farmland. Come with me quickly—there happens to be a field over there with a problem."
Shattered Soul and Terminus raised their brows.
They silently followed behind Absolute Boundary and the soldier, wanting to see how an Executor farmed.
Meanwhile, Fu Zeyu's face went stiff.
Well, damn. Were they really going to be exposed this quickly?
Forget it. Once the other side flew into a rage, they would just slaughter their way out of here.
Although they had finally found a place inhabited by living people, they were not the sort to swallow humiliation
