Are You Living Freely Now?
There were some books and bottles and jars on it.
Skywing A walked over and flipped through the books; the fonts on them were not those found on Blue Star.
However, the previously unlocked technology came in handy, quickly translating the contents of the document.
"Hmm? They're doing this again? Do all cults use the same tactics?"
This book contains experimental data, some of which were conducted on Anomaly Tamer and others on ordinary people.
The ultimate goal seems to be to extend the lifespan of the Anomaly Tamer and completely eliminate the strange hidden dangers within their bodies.
In order to complete this experiment, Key Society conducted a series of horrific and inhumane experiments.
One of the reasons they used company benefits to attract so many people was to use those people for some cruel experiments.
At first, they only targeted unemployed people who were alone, helpless, and whose whereabouts were unknown even if they disappeared.
Another method is to go to remote mountainous areas and kidnap people.
However, the environment in the Xia Kingdom is better than abroad, so in order to avoid being targeted by the Investigation Team, they only kidnapped a few hundred people before stopping.
These hundreds of people are people who won't be come looking for after being kidnapped.
Unfortunately, there aren't many talented people. Out of hundreds of people, only one person has a bit of talent, probably only reaching the level of Ding Wen Wu Ming.
Key Society conducted some experiments with them, but did not get the results they wanted.
Finally, they set their sights on students who were easier to deceive; of course, they wouldn't let these students die at their hands.
All you need to do is pay them a little money to lure them in, then use some weird abilities to bewitch them, perform small experiments on them while they're unconscious, and then release them back.
As for whether they will experience any side effects from the experiment or suddenly die, that is of course not related to them.
This is possible for those with average talent, but for those with better talent, such as Cui Zicheng, they can be recruited and become true members of the company.
Unfortunately, before they could take action, Cui Zicheng's mysterious disappearance exposed the Key Society to the Investigation Team.
This forced the experiment to be suspended.
However, this experiment, which should have been stopped, found the most suitable candidate once again.
Skywing A flipped through the pages of the book that had been filled with various experimental data, and stopped at a blank page.
No data was recorded here; only an experiment number, 315, and the best experimental subject were written at the beginning.
The handwriting on this line is very fresh, as if it was just written recently.
Skywing A: "An experimental subject?"
He flipped through the other books, and besides the experimental data, there was another book that contained information about the strange energy in that pool.
The source of this strange energy is an experiment.
However, this experiment did not take place on Blue Star, but in the world before the Key Society.
During the experiment, one of the test subjects triggered a special ability that summoned indescribable creatures.
A wondrous space was opened up.
That space offers an inexhaustible supply of strange energy, so concentrated that it has reached an astonishing solidification level.
Unfortunately, every time they broke through the space, they had to make a deal with that creature, and that creature's favorite food was humans.
Each time, one hundred humans must be sacrificed to break through the barrier.
The Key Society certainly wouldn't care about these lives, but unfortunately, their world has too few people, and most of them live in urban areas, making it extremely difficult to secretly kidnap a few people.
Over all this time, they have only completed twenty-seven transactions with that creature.
This pool of strange energy was formed simply by placing a bead of strange energy inside.
It was through these transactions that the Key Society was able to survive for over a hundred years in that bizarre world.
Skywing A closed the book, happily deciding that the space filled with strange energy was his.
The only pity is that the book did not record the coordinates of that space, nor how to summon that indescribable creature.
I suspect only those at the highest levels would know how to do it.
After finishing reading, Skywing A swept away all traces of her presence and put everything she had moved back in its original place.
Then, he made a gust of wind blow outside, which teleported him back to his room.
Now that we've learned the organization's secrets...
Then you don't need to worry about too much.
Mo Chen had fallen asleep when suddenly, as if he were dreaming of something extremely terrifying, he abruptly opened his eyes and sat up in bed.
He was panting heavily, and when he wiped his forehead, he found his hand was covered in sweat.
He muttered to himself, "I don't know if bringing that person back was the right or wrong thing to do."
He soon realized that he had indeed made a mistake.
the next day.
Early in the morning, Mo Chen had just taken a nap and was woken up by someone.
A member of the same rank as him was knocking on his door incessantly.
Mo Chen got up and opened the door.
The coworker, with a long face, said, "You'd better control that new recruit you brought in."
Mo Chen felt a bad premonition. "What's wrong?"
"He kept pulling at the members, asking us what we thought about freedom. What could I possibly think? Damn it, after becoming Anomaly Tamer, forget about freedom, I'm almost dead."
What's wrong with him, an honest man who just wants to survive? Why should he suffer such mental pollution?
Mo Chen squinted, looking at his colleague who was in a state of utter despair.
As long as I don't drag him into discussing these things, it's fine. As for them, I'll just get them to debate ideas about life and freedom anyway.
It won't cost you a piece of meat, will it?
Mo Chen had already figured it out: Wu Feichen was still a student. Even if he was mentally unstable, acted extremely, and had stubborn thoughts, he was still just a student.
Surely a bunch of Anomaly Tamer couldn't handle a single student?
What's there to be afraid of?
The member, looking utterly exhausted, waved his hand and said, "Never mind, go take a look anyway."
Then he left without looking back, heading towards the gate of the stronghold. It's likely he doesn't want to return to the stronghold anytime soon.
Having no other choice, Mo Chen went to find Wu Feichen.
When they found Wu Feichen, he was talking to an impatient-looking member of the club.
Are you free now?
Member: "It's pretty good. Apart from the short lifespan, the company's benefits are quite good."
Mo Chen stopped Wu Feichen, who was about to say something, and said, "Today I'm taking you to a place where many strange things are imprisoned."
