After Du Jiashi and Zhao Hun left.

They exchanged a glance.

"Did you sense an aura just now?"

"It was a little chaotic, and far too faint. I thought I'd sensed it wrong."

Zhao Hun said, "You sensed it too?"

Du Jiashi said, "Then that must be the special NPC Moonlit Gentleman and the others encountered. He should still be alive."

But for some reason, he had suddenly concealed himself, watching them from somewhere inside the room.

Zhao Hun said, "Maybe he wants to see how we deal with this anomaly?"

They were not the only ones surprised.

Shen Yu had not expected that the familiar aura he sensed would belong to the two of them.

But after thinking about it, it did not seem strange.

After all, once the Aberration Association made that decision, many Contract Anomalists would certainly log into this game.

He simply had not expected to run into Du Jiashi and Zhao Hun here by such a coincidence.

Shen Yu was not particularly familiar with the newcomers in the Aberration Association. The ones he knew best were probably these newcomers who had joined at the very beginning.

He still remembered how terrified these two newcomers had been when facing anomalies at first.

Now, they had grown into Contract Anomalists capable of standing on their own.

Shen Yu rubbed his chin. Why did he feel as though his mindset had become so old-fashioned? Looking at these newcomers felt like looking at a group of children.

Had playing too many roles finally caused something to go wrong with his mental state?
