Mi Lan survived the bombing, while the Church of Birth’s efforts to exploit the chaos were exposed and its agents were scattered. In the Wandering Star Zone, Ozero mistook Mi Lan’s new church for an impostor faith and planned to prove the Mother of Birth’s power.
Mi Lan became the new Star God and Shen Yu defeated the Mother of Birth’s avatar, while the Anomaly Containment Association investigated the Church of Birth’s schemes. The bishop used a business and school sponsorship as cover to search for the Association’s Chairman in Yeyang City.
The Church of Birth lured the Chairman into a plot around Phantom High School, but Shen Yu contained the Mother of Birth and Demon Moon before sending Daoist into a Dungeon world to complete his scenario. Shen Yu absorbed the Infinity Fragments and made a bargain with that world’s consciousness as the Association’s work continued.
Disaster’s cadres settled on Blue Star and investigated Dungeons while Disease helped Covetous Attachment and Sloth stop a diary-driven anomaly from killing them. Their search led them into Kro’s paintings, where they watched his childhood unfold and learned how his father’s demands shaped his art.
Shen Yu helped Kro and Ker resolve their shared-body conflict, then gave Kro a body of his own and led the group to conquer the Dungeon. Back on Blue Star, Sloth and Covetous Attachment discovered that their memories of the Anomaly Containment Association’s Chairman had been tampered with.
Bei Mu used Wealth Reaches the Gods to expand Yi Gui Company’s influence, while Ji Wu and Song Shi investigated Green Leaf Company and its full-dive game. As Green Leaf Shield Company launched products to challenge Yi Gui Company, Andemen’s plans began failing, and he gave Rob one last chance to prove himself.
Bei Mu’s rise helped Yi Gui Company absorb its rivals, while Shen Yu’s game let players encounter Weirds and learn to become Anomaly Tamers. Wang Qing then confronted a Fierce Evil-level Weird Tree in Western Europe, where its human-filled burls forced him to fight without harming the captives.
Wang Qing captured the Weird Tree, while Shen Yu summoned the God of Games and tried to strengthen Blue Star as a new threat emerged through Yuki’s songs. Yuki became the Song Tide Priest, and Bai Zuo and the giant white Spider fought to stop the flood in Cosmic Nation.
Shen Yu and the God of Games subdued the Song Tide God, then Shen Yu’s team entered a half-formed Dungeon where Luo Ping and Huang Bei became entangled with an Evil Deity cult. The arc left them fighting Ma Lou at the Peculiar Club as Zhong Xing sent the Bureau’s remaining Anomaly Tamers to investigate.
Xie Yu saved Dark Moon from an Evil Deity sacrifice and recruited her into Amber Squad before cultists launched a citywide ritual to open the Dimensional Gate. His contracted Evil God shattered the gate after severing the opposing Weird’s arm, but the fallen hand resisted the Anomaly Tamers’ attempts to contain it.
Xie Yu’s past and the arrival of the Anomaly Containment Association unfolded before the world as a sky curtain, while Wu’s divination helped Huang Hao survive an attack on his family. The arc ended with Xie Yu mastering the Evil God’s power as the sky curtain began to break apart.
Xie Yu survived his transformation and reached S-rank, while Zhong Hong joined the Anomaly Containment Association after Wu separated him from a symbiotic aberration. As Wu and Bo entered Garrison City’s dark market, Wu’s divination drew Fu Zeyu into a vision of a deadly Weird, and Guan Jingshan began searching the market for assassins or mercenaries.
Wu’s growing control of fate helped the Anomaly Tamers survive a nationwide supernatural flood, while Wang Qing and Ao Qu fought the forces behind it. After Ao Qu contained the Evil Deity, Huaxia Nation joined the Anomaly Containment Association, leaving other countries to confront their dependence on Anomaly Tamers.
Fu Zeyu became a Contract Anomalist, crossed into hell with Shen Yu, and brought Uncle Ge back in a new body. Meanwhile, Wu and Bo confronted Kedelike and an Evil Deity’s spawn, as Skywing A suppressed the spawn and transformed people fought the monsters.
Wu’s return through the Gate of Fate brought warnings of disaster and helped Fu Zeyu discover his power as the Anomaly Containment Association defended the barrier from Kedelike and the Evil Deity cultists. The attack was stopped, but the Salvation Society and other enemies continued to close in on Garrison City as Shen Yu faced urgent trouble at the gate.
Wu saved the city and reunited with Shen Yu before the Anomaly Containment Association sent Fu Zeyu and the others to investigate the Salvation Society in the Holy Covenant Kingdom. Akar joined the Association, the mission ended with the cultists defeated, and Shen Yu entered another world through the Disaster Character Card.
Disaster escaped the Horror Game’s livestream and turned against its company, while Shen Yu and the students returned to a world where Weird were still only rumors. Xiao Xuan and Chu He investigated the Cursed Game at Pulan University, where they faced its mutated students and a powerful entity that had taken over Zhao Qian.
After the Pulan University Ghost Domain incident, Xiao Xuan helped Chu He and Qiu Han prepare to become Contract Anomalists as the Anomaly Containment Association gathered for Earth Star's spiritual energy revival. Shen Yu halted a destructive sparring match and announced the revival's timing, while unusual changes in plants and animals drew public attention.
Shen Yu nurtured the spiritual veins as spiritual energy awakened demon beasts and abilities across the world, while the collision of two worlds drew the Special Management Department through a rift. In the other world, Duan You challenged the Heavenly Demon Guild’s control of a secret realm until Feng Pan arrived and claimed it.
Jian Bai joined the Anomaly Containment Association, contracted a skeletal Weird, and learned that Flame Star might be destroyed as worlds merged. Meanwhile, Shen Yu returned Lin Buji’s group to their world, where they recognized their experiences in Sui Wuyou’s comic and brought him in for questioning.
