Undying Body

The Undying Body is an advanced Immortal survival capability. An Immortal who has mastered it integrates their spiritual imprint into every cell; even after their body and soul are destroyed, a surviving cellular fragment can absorb energy and restore the whole body 108.

• An Immortal Army Lord who has not mastered the Undying Body can be permanently killed when their Immortal body is shattered 135 136.
• Wild Sky Marquis was burned to nothing by the Sky Erosion Palace Lord despite possessing an Undying Body, demonstrating the overwhelming gap between Immortal ranks 108.

• It is also a “meat grinder” where even peak King-level Immortals may die in battle 12.
• Teacher Wala, a peak Marquis-level Immortal close to King level, chooses to return to the battlefield rather than remain safely at the academy, hoping to find a path to Venerable status 11.
