Ji Hao and Liu Zheng expanded Great Han and Great Zhou across the Dark World, Qingzhou, and the Eastern Wasteland while crushing rival clans and the Demon forces. After learning of his mother's inheritance and answering Immeasurable Buddha Ancestor's call, Ji Hao pursued the Soul Eater Insect King.

• Ji Hao killed An Yu and took control of the Dark World, then advanced to the fifth level of the Dao Lord Realm and defeated the princes who challenged him in the Dark Forest.
• Zhu Rong killed the Great Yan Sage Emperor, but the Flood Dragon later overwhelmed Great Han's forces until Ji Hao secured Li Jing's surrender and Great Han captured the city.
• Ji Hao crushed resistance in Qingzhou, declared Great Qin's capital would be there, and began preparing a campaign against the Northern Wasteland.
• Ji Hao survived a fierce battle with a Quasi-Saint Fierce Beast, but Mo Yu died from venom as Ji Hao led Great Zhou's army against the Eastern Wasteland.
• Ji Hao defeated the Four Symbols Sect and the Demon forces, while Liu Zheng killed the Heavenly Peng Young Master and broke the Heavenly Peng Clan's power.
• Ji Hao and his generals defeated the Chaotic Demon Apes and seized their territory, though Great Zhou's forces later massacred the clan after its chief asked Ji Hao to uphold justice.
• Old Lord told Ji Hao that his mother had been Pangu's maidservant and that the Phenomena belonged to her Primordial Unity Sect inheritance.
• Ji Hao went with Immeasurable Buddha Ancestor to West Niuhe Continent, killed the attacking Fierce Beasts, and pursued their hidden leader, the Soul Eater Insect King.

Liu Zheng led Great Han through successive campaigns, conquering cities and strongholds while crushing rival rulers and armies. He ended the stretch by destroying Dark Shadow City and its sect, then faced the Crown Prince of the Great Yan Dynasty.

• Ji Hao fought the Fierce Beasts and Soul Eater Insects as the Golden Sun City Lord and Liu Zheng struggled for control of Golden Sun City, which Liu Zheng eventually conquered.
• Liu Zheng advanced through Golden Sun City and the Northern Wasteland, killing the Great Xia Emperor and foreign rulers while absorbing the Gold Attribute Spiritual Vein.
• Liu Zheng captured Gold Wood City, Gold Stone City, and Huangshi City, then defeated the East Sea Dragon King and helped Ao Run and Ao Bing take control of the Dragon Palace.
• Liu Zheng led his fleet toward South Jambudvipa Continent, survived an ambush by Snake Scorpion Niangzi and her allies, and then turned his attention to Black Wind Ridge and Black Tiger Ridge.
• Liu Zheng’s forces crushed the Black Tiger and Black Wind factions, defeated their rulers, and secured the surrounding strongholds as the Scorpio Star Lord and other regional powers challenged Great Han.
• Liu Zheng and Di Jiang attacked the plotting star lords, then Liu Zheng’s army defeated the Dark Night Star Lord and blockaded the Dark Night Star System.
• Liu Zheng killed the Dark Night Star Lord and his allies, then entered the Ancient Secret Realm with Cao Zhengchun and Xiang Yu and destroyed Dark Shadow City and the Dark Shadow Divine Sect.
• The Crown Prince of the Great Yan Dynasty arrived to claim Dark Shadow City, and Liu Zheng struck him before attacking his summoned Soul Eater Spirit Tiger.

Liu Zheng and Lin Yang survived attacks and pursued their own battles, while Han Rui entered a new official role and secretly married Yang Yan. Han Rui then traveled toward Yangzhou to investigate corruption and reached Spring Sunshine Garden with Li Xiyin and her companions.

• Liu Zheng escaped the Dark Shadow God Palace with Dark Night Fairy Ji’s help, and the Dark Shadow God Lord later greeted him as the Han Emperor.
• Lin Yang battled the Divine Maiden and the Qing Tian Ancient Vine, cultivated new techniques, and eventually destroyed the Qin Family after learning that its young master had killed his father and sister.
• Qin Hao prepared to attack Great Han, while Han Rui was appointed National Teacher and urged him to delay the campaign until Great Han had weakened.
• Han Rui returned to the Han Clan, reunited with his relatives, and secretly married Yang Yan after the pair confessed their relationship to the Yang Family Head.
• At Qingliang Temple, Han Rui met Chen Shancheng and learned that Chen Wenlong’s elder brother had been killed by the masked attacker who had targeted him.
• Han Rui traveled toward Yangzhou with Chen Shancheng, then agreed to accompany Li Xiyin and her companions toward Yangcheng Lake.
• Han Rui saw two beautiful women at the Dragon Gate Grottoes and arrived with them at Spring Sunshine Garden, where Li Ji asked about his connection with Imperial Concubine Yang.

Han Rui accepted Imperial Concubine Yang’s proposal to leave Chang’an, then gained a palace post while the story shifted to conflicts involving Ye Yun, Yang Xue Qing, Xiao Lingyu, and Ming Yu. Ming Yu became an Inner Sect Disciple after defeating his enemies, while Liu Yichen resolved to grow stronger and seek revenge.

• Han Rui attended Imperial Concubine Yang’s banquet, accepted her proposal to leave Chang’an after matters were settled, and later agreed to serve Zhao Ji as a Hanlin Compiler and Censorate Registrar.
• Han Rui studied the Shan He Tu and declared that it showed the bearing a king ought to possess, while the Black-Clothed Man abducted a girl and a zombie attack spread panic in Sky Dragon City.
• The Red-Clothed Woman and Ye Xuanqing drove off the Black-Clothed Man, and Yang Xue Qing escaped her family’s control, killed Yang Yuan Shan, and vowed to protect Yang Hao Yu.
• Yang Xue Qing defended her father against Xiao Tengyun and returned to Xiao Family Manor, while Xiao Tengyun left to cultivate and fought Carefree Palace attackers.
• Xiao Lingyu fought Carefree Palace disciples, joined Ye Xuan, and confronted the Carefree Sect over Ming Yu, who escaped the Sect Master’s attempt to kill him and reunited with Qin Lan.
• Ming Yu defeated Yang Hao Yu in a fight, passed the assessment to become an Inner Sect Disciple, and survived Liu Yan’er’s dagger attack before defeating Liu Yixuan and Liu Yichen.
• Liu Yichen asked Liu Changhe to kill Ming Yu, learned that Ming Yu’s ties to the Seventh Prince made him untouchable, and decided to take the assessment to strengthen himself and seek revenge.
