Background / History

Chaos City Lord resides within the Chaos Ruins beneath Chaos City's City Lord's Manor, a desolate space filled with the corpses of beings whose auras surpass Immortals. During the Genius Battle generation's arrival in Chaos City, he observes Zhou Ze's conduct and initially questions why Zhou uses such precious time to strengthen his body rather than focus solely on comprehension. 145

He becomes increasingly unable to understand Zhou Ze after the latter begins openly challenging the Tongtian Bridge despite having previously kept a low profile. Zhou Ze's rapid progression and uncharacteristic choices repeatedly draw his curiosity. 160

His interest in the Mind Realm Cultivation Method deepens after witnessing the willpower of Zhou Ze's disciples. He considers its value in improving will alone to exceed one hundred billion points, yet cannot personally get started in the method despite his strength and comprehension. 178 264 313

Chaos City Lord later tests Zhou Ze's resolve and the nature of his Mind Realm cultivation by killing him with a casual palm strike. After Zhou Ze revives, the City Lord questions him about the experience, confirming the experiment's purpose. 181 182

Appearance

Chaos City Lord is a burly, towering man roughly three meters tall. His fierce, intimidating appearance sharply contrasts with eyes described as tranquil as an ocean or starry sky. 145 160

  • Wears intricate, ancient dark-red battle armor and combat boots. 145
  • Has two fiery red horn-like protrusions on his forehead. 145
  • Possesses a scaled tail extending from beneath his battle skirt. 145
  • His face is covered in strange secret patterns, giving him a vicious appearance. 145
  • Can suppress his aura completely, appearing like an ordinary person despite his fearsome features. 342

Personality

Chaos City Lord is calm, selfless, and highly pragmatic. As humanity's effective administrator, he weighs ideals against the race's political realities, arguing that powerful experts must be united or won over even when their actions raise uncomfortable moral questions. 230

He is deeply invested in nurturing talent and strengthening humanity's long-term foundation. He treats Zhou Ze with unusual patience and respect because of Zhou's potential, personal strength, and ability to guide others; despite his own status, he often communicates with Zhou almost as a friend. 264

His composure is repeatedly broken by Zhou Ze's achievements, from killing a peak king-level Immortal to forging huge quantities of top-tier heavy treasures. Even so, he respects Zhou Ze's independence and does not pry into secrets that do not endanger the Human Race. 313 366 420

Although normally rigid about rules and fairness, he is willing to humble himself and negotiate when the interests of the Human Race are at stake. 323 731
