Background / History
Rise to a peak race
The Human Race began as a comparatively weak race in the early Primordial Universe. Original Ancestor's rise, territorial conquests, and acquisition of resources enabled humanity to develop into a peak race rather than stagnate in its early and middle periods. Giant Axe Founder later received Original Ancestor's guidance, while Chaos City Lord, Darkness Lord, and Ice Peak Lord became pillars of the race. 397 514
After Original Ancestor was suppressed, the Human Race lost territory repeatedly and retained 1,008 universe countries. Its major rivals—the Monster Race, Insect Race, and Machine Race—occupied or contested the most fertile regions of the Primordial Universe. 390 643
Zhou Ze's emergence
Zhou Ze's rise transformed humanity's prospects. A former Earth native who had not yet reached Planetary-level only a few thousand years earlier, he became the Human Race Saint Master and gained a reputation for guidance capable of changing a race's fate. 393 400
His teachings rapidly produced Venerables and strengthened King-level Immortals, while his Mind Realm Cultivation Method improved spiritual will and undermined soul-control methods. Rival races consequently treated his existence as a threat comparable to, or greater than, Original Ancestor's strategic importance. 388 390 402 475
Internal reform and talent cultivation
Zhou Ze hosted the Human Race Peak Genius Selection Competition, expanding eligibility to humans from every realm below the Immortal stage rather than limiting participation to traditional universe-country channels. The competition was intended to uncover hidden talent across humanity. 519
He also openly condemned slavery within Human Race territory and called for its abolition, arguing that powerful humans should protect weaker members rather than prey upon them. The upper echelon united behind his appeal under the slogan “Everything for the race.” 526 528
War for the Primordial Universe
Following decades of suppression in the Extraterrestrial Battlefield and cosmic secret realms, the Human Race accelerated preparations for territorial expansion. Zhou Ze supplied and forged supreme true treasures tailored to the Secret Arts of Human Race Universe Masters, while Luo Feng lent the Star Tower for the coming conflict. 756 757
Humanity then declared war on every force and race in the Primordial Universe and the Universe Sea, intending to occupy the Primordial Universe outright. The Machine Race, Insect Race, Monster Race, Crystal Race, Prison Race, Northern Border Alliance, and other forces formed the Anti-Human Alliance in response. 758 759
At Blood Fang Star, Human Race combat squads launched the first strike rather than allow the alliance to bring the war into Human territory. Their combined formation overwhelmed the allied force; Blood Fang Star was destroyed, many Universe Masters fell, and the Machine Race Father God self-destructed rather than face enslavement. 761 763
Era of dominance
After the Anti-Human Alliance collapsed, the Human Race harvested the Machine Race's miniature universe and established dominance over the Primordial Universe. 765
Over the following eight million years, systematic cultivation through the Duan Dong River Lineage inheritance and Zhou Ze's guidance produced an unprecedented number of powerful humans. Humanity subsequently deployed ninety True Gods and five thousand Universe Masters to expel all competitors and monopolize Sitting Mountain Guest's corpse in the Universe Sea. 769 770 772
