Breaking Through the Domain Lord Level Primordial Heaven-Reaching Mountain (Please Read On)

Apart from the Dark Lord, who spent most of his time in the Cosmic Sea, all the other Universe Masters of the Virtual Universe Company had gathered at the Tongtian Mountain Plane.

In a remote corner of the Tongtian Mountain Plane, a figure in white robes stood motionless.

His aura was so completely restrained that he seemed to have merged with this virtual world. The entire world operated according to his will, and none of the Universe Masters could detect his presence.

By then, Zhang Dong had already advanced like a force of nature, broken through the guards at the mountainside, and reached the summit of the Primordial Heaven-Reaching Mountain.

He wore light blue armor and carried a long saber on his back. His face was brimming with confidence, and he looked every bit the dashing young hero.

Clouds and mist swirled around the summit. The three guards had stopped what they were doing as soon as Zhang Dong arrived and were now waiting for him, prepared for battle.

As Intelligent Life, they knew what it meant for Zhang Dong to have made it here.

"Your Highness Zhang Dong, I never thought you'd make it to the summit," Ox-Head said gruffly. "The last person to reach this place was Ke Di."

"Ke Di was much older than you," Snake Woman said with a bewitching smile. "Your Highness Zhang Dong, you're a young hero. If you can get past us, you might well be the greatest genius in history."

Breaking through the Domain Lord Level Primordial Heaven-Reaching Mountain wasn't anything extraordinary.

But doing so after cultivating for such a short time was simply astonishing.

The Primordial Universe wasn't the Origin Continent or the neighboring Three Realms. In the minds of the many powerful beings, reincarnation simply wasn't a thing.

Even the Universe Masters of past generations had been nowhere near Zhang Dong's level when they were young.

"Not bad." Snake Woman smiled alluringly and began casting an illusion, while an arc of flowing light flashed behind Ape-Man and blocked Zhang Dong's blade.

Ox-Head roared up at the sky and raised his blood-red giant axe overhead. Countless phantom axe blades appeared. Space tore open around him as he unleashed boundless power that swept in every direction!

If all three guards attacked at once, even every Domain Lord in the Primordial Realm combined would be instantly slaughtered!

But the illusion had no effect on Zhang Dong.

He was a First-Class True Intent Transcendent, and some of his True Intents had even reached the Second-Class Divine Heart stage. His soul was already exceptionally powerful.

As for his will, Zhang Dong's was even more astonishing. The illusion was no more than a breeze brushing his face. He could ignore not only the illusion of the Domain Lord Level Primordial Heaven-Reaching Mountain, but even that of the World Lord Level Primordial Heaven-Reaching Mountain.

Ox-Head raised his blood-red axe again and unleashed a strike that tore through space.

Zhang Dong didn't retreat at all. He swung his long saber, channeling the Great Extinction Force into a secret technique. Light flowed along the blade, which became like an extreme point, piercing through everything.

The space where that pinpoint of blade light fell began to collapse!

This secret technique, created by combining the mysteries of the Extreme Point and the Chaos Hole, would one day, once perfected, make every slash pierce through and collapse everything in its path.

A tiny hole pierced through space, while a much larger area caved inward. The sight was incredibly bizarre.

Boom!

Saber met axe. The blood-red giant axe was pierced clean through in an instant. Ox-Head stared in shock. Zhang Dong's strength didn't seem all that overwhelming.

But the penetrating power of that blade was truly astonishing!

With one slash, the blood-red axe split in two. Ox-Head reacted quickly, reaching out to grab a broken blade and trying to swing it back at Zhang Dong's blade to stop its advance.

"Stillness." At that moment, Zhang Dong unleashed Inanimate Stillness.

The Timeline of the axe fragment was completely severed. Countless particles stopped moving. Though the fragment itself was inanimate, Ox-Head, who was controlling it, had to bear part of the resistance.

That resistance slowed Ox-Head's attempt to pull back the fragment by 0.001 seconds. That instant was more than enough.

Swoosh!

The blade flashed past and severed Ox-Head's head.

The violent force was still rampaging, and the Life Core inside him was destroyed as well.

The many Cosmic Venerables watching from outside exchanged glances. When challenging the Primordial Heaven-Reaching Mountain, killing Ox-Head was enough to make the rest of the fight far less difficult.

With the technique, Law Comprehension, and explosive power Zhang Dong had just displayed, how could Ape-Man and Snake Woman stop him?

Snake Woman and Ape-Man lasted less than three seconds before Zhang Dong completely dealt with them. Their injuries quickly healed, and the three guards stood up again.

"How did you do it?" Ox-Head asked as soon as he got up. "You actually cut through my blood-red axe."

"And you completely ignored my illusion."

"Congratulations, Your Highness Zhang Dong. You've conquered the Primordial Heaven-Reaching Mountain. You're destined to become an extraordinary figure among the Human Race."

Snake Woman and Ape-Man each added a remark.

"Just a few secret techniques for combat," Zhang Dong replied casually. "As for your illusion, it wasn't strong enough."

He had lived for only a short time, but his soul was astonishingly powerful.

With a powerful soul came an unshakable will. Naturally, it couldn't be swayed.

Outside, the many powerful beings watching exchanged glances, unable to believe how easily Zhang Dong had cleared the trial.

Venerable Shayue, in particular, looked full of regret.

If he'd known Zhang Dong was such a monster, he should have invested in him back then. It would have given him a powerful ally in the future. Most Cosmic Venerables had no powerful backing.
