History

Destruction and the Goddess of Life have been together since they gained consciousness after the God Realm’s birth. He holds the Death God Authority in trust until it finds a successor, then releases it toward Douluo Planet 154 307.

After noticing Lin Yu in Slaughter City, Destruction visits him to offer the God Position of Destruction. Lin Yu agrees to undertake the required Godly Trial, but Destruction cannot place its mark on his Undying Emperor Spider. He senses two presences within Lin Yu that surpass his own power and abandons the attempt 149 206 207 208. He later searches for another inheritor, hoping that he and Life can relinquish their positions and leave the God Realm together 281.

When a spatial rift threatens the God Realm, Destruction helps seek out Gu Yuena, whose spatial power can repair it. He and Life travel to Douluo World and negotiate her assistance in exchange for the Golden Dragon King’s release 282 283 284 285 286. Despite their plans to leave, Destruction refuses to abandon the God Realm during the crisis 285.

Destruction subsequently detects Greed’s corruption and urges Life to escape with a safeguarded fragment of his Divine Consciousness. The Rakshasa God implants a Seed of Darkness in him; Asura later exploits the corruption to seize control of the God Realm 304 305. Sent to invade Douluo World, Destruction retains enough reason to reconnect with Life and turn against Asura’s forces. He attacks the Sea God and the other invading gods, and later shakes off the dark power 337 342 343 344.

Personality

Destruction is protective of Life and places the God Realm’s safety above his wish to leave it. He warns her away from danger, yet remains behind when the realm is threatened 285 304. He is cautious about acting against Asura without evidence, a restraint he comes to regret after Asura’s plans are exposed 206 305.

Destruction Divine Power

Destruction wields a primordial power that he cannot fully control without risking its influence on his divine soul 281 304 343.

• His power has immense destructive force, but cannot repair spatial damage; using it against the God Realm’s rift risks worsening the breach 282 283.
• He uses Destruction Claw when confronting the Dragon God 342.
• As a God King in the God Realm, he can draw on the realm’s power 304.

Divine Inheritance

• He can initiate a Godly Trial, but cannot directly grant his God Position: a candidate must pass the trial first 207.
• A fragment of his Divine Consciousness can preserve the ability to pass down the position even if something happens to his main body 304 307.

• Goddess of Life — His wife and longtime companion. They safeguard fragments of each other’s Divine Consciousness; their bond helps him retain his reason under dark-power corruption 304 327 337 342.
• Lin Yu — His first choice to inherit the God Position of Destruction. The attempted trial fails because powers within Lin Yu resist his Divine Power 206 207 208.
• Asura God — Fellow God King whom Destruction suspects but initially lacks evidence against. Asura engineers his corruption and later orders him to invade Douluo World 206 305 337.
• Gu Yuena — The Silver Dragon King whose spatial power Destruction seeks to repair the God Realm’s rift; she demands the Golden Dragon King’s release in return 282 284 285.
• Greed — Former subordinate whose altered behavior alerts Destruction to the spreading corruption 303 304.
