Terrestrial Immortal Realm

The moment Shen Yi opened his eyes, the world in every direction had become a sea of Gu insects. From the distant cliff, A' Yue watched the entire sky turn into a black ocean of insects and muttered:

"It's fine, it's fine."

"Right, Uncle?"

Like she was patting a good brother, A' Yue slapped the withered bones of Ji Xianya beside her. With a clatter, Ji Xianya toppled to the ground.

"Oh dear."

A' Yue cried out,

then hurriedly propped the skeleton back up into a seated position, and the two sat neatly side by side to watch the battle.

Within the sea of insects, Shen Yi felt the surrounding heaven-and-earth vital energy being cut off by the endless Qi-Devouring Worms.

Only the space within thirty meters of him remained, where he could still use his own True Force to hold up an area in which to move freely.

And the heaven-and-earth vital energy enclosed within that space diminished with every bit he used, making replenishment difficult.

The longer this dragged on, the more unfavorable it became for Shen Yi.

And that was without the Witch God launching an attack on Shen Yi. Otherwise, if the Qi-Devouring Worms swarmed forward, how could even this final thirty-meter space remain?

Yet as he watched Shen Yi walk step by step into the dead end he had laid out, the confusion in his heart deepened.

"Have you gone mad?"

Shen Yi smiled.

"This junior has not gone mad."

He said each word distinctly:

"I have come to send you, Senior, to your death."

As soon as the words fell, Shen Yi curled his five fingers into a fist and drew it back to his waist, then punched straight ahead!

His punch was not fast. Instead, it moved as though wading through a mire.
