Mo Shang entered the Falling Cloud Sect, gained powerful allies, and traveled with them to Cangyun City for the grand competition. After awakening a module that could take him to lower worlds, he survived Old Man Yinming’s attack, and Gu Qingzhou killed the assailant.
Mo Shang and his companions left the sect tournament after Liu Zhengyang intervened in a clash with the Blazing Sun Sect, and Mo Shang gained the Falling Star Flame and forged Starfall. Mo Shang then traveled with Jiang Shuyu to the Weird Tales World and Blue Star, where they met Zhou Yi and befriended Chen Tian, whose reunion with Shen Qingyao left them staying at his family home.
Mo Shang and his companions explored an ancient secret realm, defeated a false inheritor, and returned with its treasures and a new ally. Back at Falling Cloud Sect, Mo Shang helped Liu Ruyan end her engagement and gave Xiao Yan the chance to begin a dangerous path to strength.
Mo Shang reunited with his family, helped Zhang Tianming confront his mistakes, and gathered allies to challenge Lin Mochen before turning to Falling Cloud Sect’s recruitment mission. In the desert, Mo Shang saved a rabbit-eared girl who was searching for Li Changsheng, and the group agreed to take her to him.
Mo Shang helped Xiao Yan obtain a Spirit Flame and guided several gifted newcomers toward the Falling Cloud Sect before exploring a ruin and reaching the Return to Origin Realm. He then rescued Zhou Yichen from the Myriad Sword Sect, where Zhou Yichen killed the people who had betrayed him, and Mo Shang invited him to join the Falling Cloud Sect.
Mo Shang brought gifted cultivators into the Falling Cloud Sect and protected Shi Hao from the Shi Clan. When Chen Tian’s encounter with a massacre led them to the True Heaven Sect, Mo Shang and his companions confronted the sect and Chen Tian destroyed it with its own grand formation.
Falling Cloud Sect gained new allies and overcame the Myriad Gods Cult, then moved to the Myriad Spirits Continent. Xiao Yan and Liu Ruyan reconciled and confessed their feelings, while Mo Shang and Jinlin prepared to encourage them.
Mo Shang and his companions helped Gu Qingzhou bring Guo Jingjing back from the Azure Mystery Sect, where Gu Qingzhou defeated Wang Zhen and married her. After the Falling Cloud Sect settled into its new home, Mo Shang joined a chat group and traveled with Chen Tian and Jinlin to meet Ye Qingrou.
Mo Shang helped the Ye Family secure protection, intervened in events surrounding Chen Tian and Zhao Lin, then followed Wu Ming to another world and changed how its law enforcement handled Fu Ci. The stretch ended with Mo Shang identifying Long Aotian as a Crooked-Mouthed Dragon King.
Mo Shang and his companions entered the Falling God Abyss, where Jinlin’s group gathered treasures and Liu Ruyan learned her mother was held by the Luo Clan. At the Ice-Fire Ancient Tower, an attacker shattered the barrier around two skeletons and released Demon Venerable Nether Spring, leaving the group cut off from outside help.
